We had a suite and it was great - facing the walkway by the river. Unfortunately we were there on Labor Day and not much was open, including area restaurants. However, the meals at the hotel restaurant were excellent and reasonable and the service was excellent, as well. The only disappointment was that they charged us for parking each day when we were originally told it was included in our daily fee.

I requested a harbour view room and was not disappointed. It overlooked the newer boardwalk into Sydney Harbour and it was glorious. The room was spotless, a separate sitting area and dining table, plenty of room to work, bed was soft and comfortable with big big windows to see out Fridge, bar sink, wine if you want it (for a charge) and room service from the restaurant
