Location: Our home is centrally located on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe just 2 miles North of Tahoe City in the Dollar Point community. It is only a few blocks from the Tahoe City paved trail system and the XC Nordic Center. It is less than 30 minutes to Palisades Tahoe, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, and casinos.

Parking:
There is available parking for 1 car in the garage, and 3 cars in the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Pets are not allowed at this home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!

Great house with a few cut corners
Overall this was a very nice house. The location was excellent, and the house was comfortable and (for the most part) very well-appointed. The property management staff were all extremely responsive and friendly, and were able to quickly address a couple of issues that came up.The one downside of the house that the owners or property managers cut corners in a few places. The TV was too old to connect to most modern streaming services. The toilet paper and paper towels were all one-ply, the kitchen came with only one very small sponge for cleaning dishes, and there was no shampoo or conditioner. These were small items, but in an otherwise-luxurious property they really stood out. For how much money was clearly spent on the property (and for how much we paid), this seemed unnecessary penny-pinching.This house was maybe 98% perfect. I'd encourage the owners and managers to invest the little bit extra to close the gap and make it a place for a 5-star vacation.

Issue which can be easily corrected
The lay out of the house was nice and the location was great. Kitchen was fine too with most everything we needed to cook meals. My friend stayed in the master bedroom and I stayed in the spare with the double bed. the blanket on the bed was not washed because there were a few strands of hair that were not mine and a rough stain on the blanket. My friend did not have the same experience in the master bedroom and the rest of the house seemed clean.

Great spot for a girls weekend!
The house was beautiful, clean, a great size, and in a good location. The kitchen has everything you’d need to cook meals in and the hot tub was a great addition! Only things to note - we ran out of all paper products (toilet paper and paper towels) during our stay and had to buy our own, and make sure you pack all bathroom necessities as they were not provided for both bathrooms.

Perfect place for a quick summer getaway
I couldn't believe our luck that we were able to find this gem on such short notice. We took our 3 boys plus they each brought a friend and we all fit perfectly. It's very conveniently located to Tahoe city and we scouted over to Incline as well. Would happily return!

We stayed here for 4 nights with 2 families of 4 people - 4 adults and 4 kids and it worked out great! The house was updated and lovely! Only qualm was no A/C and it was HOT when we stayed but we know it’s hard to find that in mountain towns. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely home, hot tub didn’t work
We had a nice stay at this beautiful home. Loved the neighborhood and the amenities of the house. However, the hot tub did not work during our entire stay. We had pretty quick and clear communication with the property managers, but there was some miscommunication about if the hot tub had been fixed and if another maintenance person was coming out. They let our group check our a few hours late to make up for the hot tub which was appreciated. Overall nice spot!

The property and location were great. Very close to Tahoe City and Carnelian Bay. Short walk or drive to public beaches. The house had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The only downside was the traffic noise on the main road behind the house.

Perfect Vacation Home!
The property exceeded every expectation that we had. Very comfortable, roomy but cozy living area. Kitchen was amazing with quality appliances and extremely well equipped with everything you could think of. One of the best equipped kitchens of the many VRBO rentals we have stayed. Even had a small view of the lake from the kitchen, what a surprise! Bathrooms were fabulous just like the pictures show! The luxury of all the upgrades throughout truly shows. The hot tub was a perfect 104 degrees all the time and had really powerful jets to relax our bodies after skiing. The location just a couple miles north of Tahoe city was fantastic. This was one of the best VRBO rentals we have ever experienced out of the many! This was perfect for two of us but would accommodate more very comfortably.

We'd stay here again!
This was a great home for our family of five. We really liked the neighborhood, it was close enough to Tahoe City to be able to make a quick run to the store, and was an easy drive to Alpine and Olympic Valley. The size of the home was perfect - we all fit on the couch for movie time in the evening, and having the kids and all their stuff downstairs was nice for mom and dad :-). The backyard was just enough space for our 13-year-old twins and 9-year-old, for snowman building and snowball fights. An earlier review mentioned noise from the highway behind the home, but we didn't experience that at all. Of course, we didn't have the windows open, and I'm sure the winter traffic was much less than summer. And we loved having a garage and a washer/dryer - both key features for winter stays. The bathrooms were super spacious, and the heated floors were wonderful after a day on the mountain. The king bed in the upstairs master was super comfortable and cozy. The room and attached bath were quite spacious and we had plenty of drawers in the dresser; the only sort of nitpicky item was the lack of access to a closet in the master. Our family makes regular summer and winter trips to Tahoe, and we'd definitely stay here again if available. Just a few minor suggestions, as renters that have stayed at a lot of different Tahoe area properties: - The bunk room had a small table and a desk, but no dresser, and no hangers in the closet. Meant our three kids had to put all their clothes in the other bedroom. A dozen hangers and a bureau would have been great. - A couple boxes of tissues set out would have been a nice touch - we always need them when visiting the mountains. - It'd be helpful if the arrival instructions indicated the location of the lockbox - it's certainly not hidden, but we missed it the first couple of times, because it's on a post at your back as you're facing the front door. - A couple sets of melamine / plastic dishware and cups (for kids) would be helpful. There was only one set of melamine bowls, and just a couple random plastic cups, and for families with kids, having more of these would be preferable. Overall, we'd absolutely stay here again, and will definitely look for it next summer!

We had a great time celebrating our 10 year anniversary here! The house was beautiful and clean, and fireplace was perfect sit by and enjoy. The hot tub was amazing and felt very private. Location was perfect to Tahoe City area where we did most of our dining. We highly recommend this place!

Beautiful home
We really enjoyed our stay. The home was spotless, had everything we needed, and was very comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed to make meals. The master bath was large and had a really nice shower and tub. The kids enjoyed the bunk beds. We also really appreciated the washer/dryer. The property manager was very responsive when we needed some help with the tv. The only slight negatives were the highway noise due to the proximity and no A/C. We left the windows open at night for cool air which helped a lot, so that became a non-issue. The home was in a nice neighborhood, a short distance from Tahoe City and 13 minutes to King’s Beach. It was a beautiful home and we would definitely recommend staying here.

Spring Stay - 2021 - Excellent Choice!!
I want to leave a quick note letting everyone know home much my family and I enjoyed staying at this house. My overall impressions of this property are terrific. There were two families (four adults, one teen, and one youngster) staying for two nights. I certainly wish we could have stayed longer. The house was very clean, top to bottom, dishes to dining room, towels to tub, fridge to floors, everything. The master was roomy and the bed was comfortable. The guest rooms were accommodating and on a different floor from the master. Everything was comfy and just as advertised. The patio is street facing without much privacy, but the neighborhood seemed very clean and there was a small view of the lake on a clear day. The house fit us very well, but it might have felt crowded if there where many more. Highly recommended.
