Staff was very nice and property and room were clean. Our room had an odor that we couldn’t determine and upon our last day realized the carpet was wet in an area. Reported to front desk upon checkout. Probably a one off as we have stayed here before. Not enough places in shower for washcloths, soaps, razors, etc. Nicer hotel for the area

My stay at Hotel Duval was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the incredibly friendly and efficient valet workers who made the check-in process seamless. Their professionalism and attentiveness set the tone for the entire stay.The front desk employees were equally impressive—warm, welcoming, and eager to assist with any request. They provided excellent recommendations and made me feel right at home.The rooms were spotless and spacious, offering the perfect blend of comfort and style. The property was old but charming. My room when I walked in had a terrible odor. That said, as beautiful as the room was the odor was pungent. Not mold but pungent. The staff offered air freshener to mask the odor. I felt it was causing a subtle allergic reaction but my flight was early and no other room was available.

They tried 3 different rooms, one worse than the other, mildew, the carpet was wet, cigarette smell, humidity, broken toilet…. It was a horrible experience and nobody at the hotel could help me and my 3 children with the situation…. Then I got charged for 2 overnights from valet when I didn’t use the service….. a nightmare!

We always stay at Hotel Duval while visiting our daughter at FFSU. The location is perfect and the roof top bar is an added plus!

The location of the hotel was great for what we wanted to do in the area. The staff and service were all excellent. The hotel itself was nice and the rooftop lounge and patio were excellent. Our room, however, had issues. It was damp and mildew smelling and when you walked into the room the carpet felt damp. The room was also noisy when we were trying to get some sleep, with sirens going off from the fire station nearby periodically during the night.
