Everything was great except the first room they gave us a card for was still occupied and the second was had dirty bedding from previous guests (Smoker smell and what we hope was drool).

Overcharged
This hotel double charged me and it took around two months to get a refund. I booked on Hotels.com and the hotel charged me a deposit and additionally for the room I had already paid for online when I asked to speak to someone about it they told me the manager wasn’t there and I would have to call back. I called back and left a message and did not hear back Within that week. When I finally talked to someone, they told me they would get it taken care of immediately. However, it was still several weeks before I received a refund.

Staff friendly. They really make a lackluster experience “good”. Hotel is very old, damage in the room. There are some updates but it could use a major overhaul. I would say there was one major disappointment. I booked 2 rooms, including a separate room for my 75 year old dad. We came in the day before he did. The disappointment there was the fact that he arrived at 11, the hotel was a ghost town - no cleaning or anything going on, and they charged him $30 for checking in early. The room was ready. He just drove 3 hours by himself. A disabled army veteran, very tired and needing a nap. And they couldn’t just let him into his (already ready) room. I think their policy-makers need some compassion. $30 is very steep for an $80-$90 room.

Nice pool, good breakfast, comfortable bed, spacious room. But there is no elevator and they never cleaned our room our entire stay, 3 days, no towel change, no trash removal. When we told the housekeeper but I don't think she understood english. The two ice machines near the room didn't work.

I gave this place a 5 star for its courtyard mostly. A beautiful area to chill with plants and privacy, all hotels should offer something like this. The room is more of a 3-4 star situation but I’m not high maintenance and for the best price in the area, I am very happy. Will stay here again if I ever come back to Topeka. Great free breakfast too!

This hotel was good for the money. It was convenient to I-70 and the free breakfast was very good. The rooms need some updating but it was still a great option to rest up for the second leg of our road trip.

We stay here 30 minutes away from where are kids are because this place is awesome. Courtyard rooms, always clean and comfortable, great breakfast and a bar. The staff are always friendly.
