This home offers 6 comfortable bedrooms, which includes a separate summertime only apartment, and 3 1/2 baths. This home will accommodate larger families. It sleeps up to 14 people. The rec room in the home has a temperature-controlled lap pool and a ping pong table for more family fun. The self-contained summer apartment (over the garage) offers two sleeping areas, a full bath and kitchen area. This home sits on the southern end of Lake Bellaire adjacent to a nature preserve and offers plenty of privacy at the end of a quiet lane.
There is a 100-foot dock that you can tie your boat to. Bring your boat or rent one at a local marina and enjoy all that the Lower Chain of Lakes has to offer. The Lower Chain of Lakes consists of Lake Bellaire, Grass River, Clam Lake, Clam River, Torch Lake, Torch River, Lake Skegemog, and Elk Lake providing 61 miles of waterways to enjoy. Additional Amenities include: a 65” TV (for streaming channels only), high speed internet, landline phone, heat and AC, TWO refrigerators in the main house to fill with your food and drinks. The kitchen is equipped with dinnerware, drinkware, and flatware for up to 14 people. Linens and towels are provided in the home for your use during your stay. There is a washer and dryer in the home. This home has mini split air conditioners in each bedroom and living area so guests can control their comfort.

If you would like to take some time to explore the area, Alden, Bellaire and Elk Rapids offer unique shops and great dining options. There are fruit orchards for picking a variety of fruits in season, a cutting flower garden located in Alden, and multiple world class golf courses in Bellaire and the surrounding areas. If you enjoy wines, the area has an abundance of wineries and tasting rooms to visit. The closest winery, Torch Lake Cellars, is just a couple of miles from your door. If wine is not your first choice, the area also has many craft breweries including award-winning Short's Brewery in both Bellaire and Elk Rapids. Mammoth Distillery is also located in Bellaire. Want to venture out a little further? Check out the Sleeping Bear Dunes in Empire or head north to Mackinaw City. There, you can cross the bridge and explore some of the upper peninsula or take a ferry over to Mackinac Island and enjoy the peaceful island where no cars are allowed. Rent a bike, or take a horse-drawn carriage around the 8-mile perimeter of the island, while enjoying beautiful lake vistas. Fort Mackinac on Mackinac Island is rich in Michigan history. Empire and Mackinaw City are just over an hour's drive in different directions.
