There was a plumbing issue so we were moved to another room that wasn't as nice as the one we had originally. However, we still had a fabulous stay. This is still the only hotel that we will stay at.

We stayed during the 1st week of November 2024 and the hotel room, grounds, and restaurant were all lovely. The room was spacious and clean. The buildings fit the desert theme perfectly. We ate breakfast at the restaurant, which was delicious. The staff members were friendly and helpful. I thought from the pictures that this lodge was in a more secluded area, from the online pictures, but it is right in the middle of a city. We will definitely stay here again!

The front desk person didnt answer the phone, i walked to the desk and he was ignoring the phone and playing on his phone. When i walked into the lobby, there was a woman in the lobby waiting to be helped, the front desk person was just out of sight playing on his phone ignoring her. I walked into the gift shop and could see him sitting there ignoring her. Only after i saw him sitting there did he respond to us.when i confronted him, he says he was working on his website.

Pet-friendly property with multiple buildings set among walkable gardens with citrus trees and cacti. Dinner menu features regional cuisine. Full breakfast buffet includes hot and cold choices. This was third time staying here and will do so again. Highly recommend Lodge on the Desert.

I have stayed at this property every year, and have enjoyed my stay, but there is no longer complimentary breakfast. It's not worth the money they now charge for food, and when Expedia says you get $21 in food and beverage credit, this is wrong. You receive chips and salsa and a drink. The pool and hot tub are warm and great. This is a good value and great place to stay in Tucson, but the lack of amenities once provided is disappointing.
