We absolutely loved The Lucie! It is a small boutique-style hotel on the beach with a lovely pool and tiki bar for lunch. Steve greeted us warmly at check in and treated us to glasses of champagne and fresh baked cookies! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Good, not great, probably better options out there
Stay was okay. Got in very late 2 am due to delayed flights into FLL. Ended up with a so-so room with a view of the parking lot. Was expecting ocean view but was told none were available at that time. Was too tired to argue about it. The air conditioning in the room was extremely noisy and rattled every time it kicked on and off. Not great when trying to sleep. Bed was okay and room was clean. Easy access to the beach, but chairs and umbrellas have steep rental costs. Not included in the resort fee. Cheaper to go buy one and just give it to a local when done. The tiki bar was fun, drinks are okay but pricey for the amount you get. Coffee shop was terrible. We got breakfast on day one and it took about 40 minutes for a breakfast sandwich for some reason. The coffees are made with a Nespresso machine so don't expect coffee shop quality. Only coffee shop prices. Coffee shop didn't seem to be very busy the entire stay so I'm guessing it wasn't a one off experience. The resort fee of > $35 seemed high and covers nothing most regular vacationing guests would use aside from parking. Maybe towels I suppose. However, the beech access is nice and easy to get to so there is that. It's a relatively short drive to Stuart for fun times and great food. I'd probably look for other options before staying here again though. Just my opinions.

I was a little disappointed that my sunset view room didn't have a view at all. The peak of the roof was blocking my view. That was the only issue I experienced. Everything else about my stay was great!

Stephanie at the front desk was Fabulous ! Super friendly, super kind, super efficient ! Steve was also very gracious, friendly and kind ! 3 Great restaurants adjacent,or across the street : Nonna's, Kyle G's(adjacent) ,Magic Oyster Bar. Mention Steve at Nonna's for complimentary meatballs ! Free coffee in the lobby 7:00 am - 11:00 am. Complimentary cookies 5:00 PM SHARP in the lobby ! Beautiful Ocean-front room with spectacular ocean view ! Fantastic to leave sliding glass doors open to listen to the waves at night ! Decent shelling - mostly colorful scallops and local striped shells ? Traffic was very heavy going both North and South ! A traffic light/signal is sorely needed to help people entering or exiting The Lucie ! They do have a blinking pedestrian crosswalk which I had to use to stop traffic and head South in our car ! I would suggest All Rooms have a skid resistant floor mat for the tile shower floor, and Safety grab bars in All showers ! I enjoyed my stay at The Lucie Feb 3-Feb 6,2025, and will gladly return !
