We have stayed here several times in the past year for a business meeting. The place is ok for a quick stay. The halls and rooms look dated, but generally clean. However, this last time one week ago, ended terribly. I usually hold reservations with my card then each of my associates pay the room on their own card. This time even though I saw each one get checked in and give the clerk their own credit cards, I was charged for all the rooms on my card!I called to dispute it, and how it had worked in the past, (July 2024 was the last visit). The manager told me that this was their policy and that when we were checking in the one card had already been charged and the other cards we only charged a deposit. I recall him being present at check in and told him that he should have been informing everyone. He simply said that this was their policy and hung up on me!!!

As you read the reviews on this property, people mention it is old or outdated. To be fair, this is an older hotel, but the hotel and my room were very clean, The bed was between firm and semi-soft. Just the way I like it. The breakfast was good, though they served the same thing both days of my stay, which I have seen in many other hotels as well as they have many people that only stay 1 day. Overall I was pleased with this hotel and will be back. The best part is it is very close to anything you would want to do in downtown and at the pricepoint is probably the best around. Just remember it is an older hotel.
