This rental will surprise you with how comfortable the living space is. But what is really special is that you will have direct private lake access and views right out your private door onto a deck and steps to the water. Dock, shallow sandy entry that becomes deeper as you go out. Also for swimming off of the dock. There is a swim float not far from the dock. The rental comes with the use of kayaks and a canoe. A fire pit to enjoy beautiful sunsets. Fishing poles and gear also provided. Private entrance from a front porch overlooking garden areas. This rental has a living room with views of the lake TV cabinet with cable and internet provided. The bed is a queen sofa bed.. Private bath with shower. Efficiency area with small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster oven. Better than you would get in a hotel or motel. There are many local classic Maine restaurants for dinner and for take out. The deck has a table, chairs and umbrella and very comfortable overlooking the lake enjoying the sunrise with your morning coffee, lunch, dinner etc. It will sleep two comfortably. The location is centrally and conveniently located to enjoy Maine in many directions. One hour north of Portland, and only 40 minutes to the famous LL Bean in Freeport. One hour east to the ocean coast of Rockland, 2.5 hours to Acadia National Park. The mountains and western Maine approximately 1 and a half hours west. You can enjoy just relaxing at the lake or take advantage of the multiple hiking , road biking and also mountain bike trails near by. And you can explore all the great outdoor activities and adventures Maine has to offer. This Studio is in an owner occupied home one level ranch. The rental unit is part of the main house but separated from the main house and you will have your own private entrance, private use of 150 feet of lake frontage. The deck is private and for yours to use to have a meal, enjoy the lake and lake views. The stone firepit is terrific for enjoying a warm up after an evening swim or meal or just to hang out and enjoy the sunset. Dry firewood, kindling , paper and fire starter provided.
