Very good location, within walking distance to the city wall and bell tower as well as lots of bars and restaurants. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and did everything we asked very quickly. They could speak English. The hotel offered a great laundry service which I used a few times. This was self service and very easy to use. The hotel also offered afternoon tea for free which was a nice selection of cakes and snacks and a great way to relax after a day of exploring the city.

I can’t think of a single complaint about this hotel. The room was nice and clean, bottled water was always provided. Slippers, bathrobe, and water boiler were provided too. It wasn’t good walking distance from the night market, about 15 minutes each way. We paid for the breakfast to be included every morning, which was good. We had room service one night and ate lunch or dinner there another night. No complaints about the food. There’s also a daily tea, which we unfortunately did not have a chance to take advantage of. Housekeeping noticed I washed some of my laundry in the room and wrote a really nice note to me in Mandarin to inform me about on-site laundry facilities that I could use. I saved the note.

Great staff and service
Wonderful staff. Breakfast was good and there were different items offered each day. Afternoon tea was a treat. Be sure to make time for it. It’s free. Cleaning service was great. Lots of free water bottles, which was helpful during the hot days. Good location and easy to walk to many sites.

Good location..Hotel room are clean spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended! Walking distance to places of interest such as Muslim quarters, bell and drum tower and city wall. Near train station. Hotel provides mineral water bottles in a fridge that we can pick up easily. Exceptional service at the front desk as they provided cold drinks upon arrival and afternoon tea as one of our rooms were not ready. Hotel is new and clean. Excellent deco and attention to details. Would stay again if we ever visit Xi’an

Nice hotel - staff friendly as they can be considered language differences- the afternoon tea provided 2:30om-5pm was a bonus. Restaurant in the evening was very tasty - especially the duck.

Location is the best
Location location location. You can walk to so many places from here. Bar street, market etc. We were told 2 nights would be enough in Xi’an. We stayed 3 wish I had book for 4 nights. Do know why there are some bad reviews on the breakfast. I’m a plane Jane eater and my husband is up to try anything. We both enjoy it. One of our better hotels in China would 200% stay here again. Wouldn’t even look at another hotel. Only down side with this hotel is the English isn’t good here. So be sure to have your translator on you at all times.

Good stay, but heavy smoke smell in all rooms bad
Overall stay was great. Location and hotel good. Everything was clean. Except the smell of smoke reeked. It seems maybe people smoke in there? Or the ventilation recirculated in the rooms? We had multiple rooms and all had smoke smell issues. Some worse than others. Could especially smell it in the bathroom which is weird (which is why we think it might be a recirculation or ventilation problem)
