The house is very roomy. If you have teenagers or preteens, there is lots of room to spread out. Downstairs is bunk beds that are queen in size, a small living room and separate full bathroom. Perfect for your young adults, teens, or in laws, or any adult that can handle stairs. Upstairs are two separate bedrooms with a shared bathroom and a small sitting area which can give to more privacy if needed. One the main level is a very large master bedroom, with private bath, in front room two couches, table which seats 6 adults comfortably, and two more chairs at a smaller bar area. The kitchen is fairly well stocked with Pam, some spices, oil, cooking utensils, cookware, plates, dishes. The area is close to two towns, we really enjoyed Murphy, about 10 min drive, Anderson is smaller but about a 3-5 minute drive. The host was fantastic, easy to rent, check in, communicate with, she helped out when the pipes froze and got things under control. She was a lovely person, and very accommodating, and gracious.
There were a considerable amount of ladybugs that kept getting in but for us was not a problem. It is winter and that can happen. Did not see any other type of bug problem at all. There was plenty of parking space, the drive up was easy, not gravel roads no need for a 4 wheel drive my Ford Fusion and the Kia Soul did just fine getting around without any problems. The main fireplace was a good touch since it is winter, we burned a fire in the house nightly. I felt comfortable, the place had a nice homey touch, all beds that everyone used was comfortable, for their liking, plenty of pillows out helped, over all comfort was perfect. The area was quite, peaceful and serene. I highly recommend this property if wanting a nice quiet getaway without all the loud noise, from a bigger city. Easy to get out and go walking, if not liking mountain walking or hiking easy drive to downtown Murphy and get on the Walkway next to the flowing creek. Make sure you go to Bryson one day and check out the town, lovely town to visit. In Murphy be sure to eat at Julie's Place it was amazing, the customer service, atmosphere, and food nothing to report bad about this restaurant. I really enjoyed the downtown shopping and dinning as well. My favorites were, Mason Jar, Chevelle's, Antique Stores, and the many speciality shops in town just have to go and spend the day browsing. We really enjoyed our much needed relaxing trip out of Atlanta. Thank you. Shawn
