PROS - create spacious room for a solo traveller, double bed was huge and so comfy, air con was great and temperature was always perfect, Gracia is a lovely quarter of Barcelona and recommend staying here, really close to metro line as well for travel, perfect location! CONS - the hotel staff were okay, they did what they needed to do but I didn’t find them overly friendly, the room is very basic, bed and a skinny wardrobe with only shelves, no hanging space

The staff was very nice, and the property’s gorgeous. I did read a few reviews saying the walls are paper thin, and they weren’t exaggerating! It was almost impossible to fall asleep. The room I stayed in could have been a bit cleaner also but overall it did the job. I loved that it wasn’t too far from the metro!

It’s quite nice overall for the price Worth staying there, it’s clean and tidy The only thing is that the noice cancellation is quite bad, I can hear really clearly when people are talking outside Otherwise, it’s nice to stay there for its price

Cozy and beautiful hostel

This is a cozy and beautiful hostel. This was my first time using a hostel and I was stunned. They offer rooms with private bathrooms, this was the option we selected and we were delighted with it. This place is gorgeous and the staff was very kind. It is located in the heart of Barcelona near many attractions, bars, and restaurants. It is very convenient and they also offer luggage care if you want to spend time in the city before leaving. Highly recommend it!

We stayed in a family room with 6 beds. It was a beautiful room that was spotlessly clean. Plenty of hot water, toiletries provided. Perfect location. We had the breakfast at an additional cost of €12 per adult and €6 per child. This felt like good value. The communal kitchen was well equipped and clean. Would stay again.

Serious hygiene problem

Many things broken… door lock was broken down when we arrived to the room. We requested someone come to help. No kettle in room but hot water is so important to us. We were advised to boil water ourselves in their shared kitchen which was pretty dirty and disgusting. Kettle was dirty. Soup bottle and paper tub were empty. Slightly have are look, all the shared kitchen stuff were very dirty, especially oven. And many of them were out of service. This hostel seems also rent out to students or single person users. Not sure if it was a reason made the share kitchen became dirty. Apart from that, room environment was not as good as other hostel I stayed before. Colour on bed sheets, hair on floor, on bed and in the bath tub etc… But room was big enough for big family which was great. But hygiene problem was really a big concern to us.

My first time staying in a hostel (we stayed in a private double room) and I was so surprised and impressed! This was nicer than many generic and dated hotels I've stayed in. The facility has a very stylish interior. It was also very quiet with only one night where a loud couple came ambling down the hallway and stomping around in the room next to us. Our room was nearly perfect; the AC wasn't very effective but it was late December and we managed. The location is in the centre of the action on Passeig de Gracia and a close walk to shopping, endless food options, and Gaudi's masterpieces.

Was perfect for what we needed. It’s an old building so it echoes and is a bit noisy. But overall was a good value for location. If you absolutely need A/C double check when they turn it on and off for the season. That was the only issue we had was very hot at night.

Close to the station(3-4min walk to the bus stop, 10min walk to the station_pg. de gracia), clean and safe. The noise of the a/c was a bit loud and the bottom drawers were hard to open but apart from that it was nice.

I mean they are so strict with the check out and no with the check in, is so unfair. Great deal for the cost. In an excellent area. I was able to walk all over the city and see most of the major sights. Very safe. My only complaint is that the hallways were a little loud at night, but I would absolutely stay here again.

Pros: LOCATION, staff Cons: NO WIFI in the room throughout the entire stay (connected for 3 seconds, basically no wifi in the room. It works in the reception area). Noisy in the early AM and late night (hear water running down, wooden floor steps, door slamming, kitchen and back of the house noise)
