The property is very dated but clean and easily accessible. They could benefit from updating everything and redoing the bathroom areas. It’s like going back to the 1980’s. It is clean though and the bedding is comfortable. Issue…when I arrived I was told I already checked in. I clearly had not checked in so I showed my ID. Owner showed me a piece of paper with all the guests names handwritten and crossed out. He mildly argued for a bit that someone already claimed my room. Then he got the number of the guest who checked in after yelling up the stairs to his wife after which she called out the phone number of said guest. The owner called him in front of me and asked if he had used the bed yet. I said I am absolutely not taking a room that some man has been in for many hours. My name is Wendy and his was Kevin. They clearly just gave the room away in error. So I was left with a “deluxe” double bed room but I had booked a two king room for me and my kids. I’m just happy they had a room on reserve after driving for 4 hours in whiteout conditions. Good intent but lack of any sort of social skills and appropriateness regarding hospitality.

The front "office" was completely dark and closed when we arrived at 6pm. We ended up driving around the facility front a couple of times before ringing the door bell to have a gentlemen come downstairs, turn the lights on, and quickly give us a key to a room. He was nice, but no information was provided including wifi code. The room was what one might expect from a motel for the cost. It was clean, but exceptionally outdated. A random plank of wood was just on the floor. The heating system worked, but was very loud and didn't operate at the temperature we set. It was great for the price, but not sure I'd stay again

Cost effective Nice, Quiet

Good nice cost effective place to stay in town. Only thing that got me check in was very odd and not clear. The check in area was dark and i had to ring a doorbell 10 times to finally get in. We came in late.

Fine for a solo stay

This old motel has been here for years. The room was clean, but that is about it. Everything was dated, including the furnishings, although I can’t complain because I paid less than $100 for one night stay. About 10 minutes away from the center of Manchester And about 20 or 30 minutes away from Stratton Mountain? Some guests seem to be here for an extended period. Not much of a staff on hand.

The property is a little old, but it is very well managed and cared. Rooms are spacious and parking is easy. The service can improve a little, and things like the WiFi password should be easily available. But overall, it is a good non-expensive stay in the area.

We enjoyed the large rooms, comfortable beds, ease of parking compared to other properties in the area, and the deck off the back of the room. There are no amenities (food, shampoo, conditioner) but this hotel is a very good value for the price and I'd highly recommend it to travelers on a budget.

No hot water and a hot mess

We approached what looked like the main lobby but no answer. Finally saw someone and tried to check-in from the freezing rain around 5pm and the room wasn't ready. We were asked to come back after 15 minutes. The pluses were that room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. BUT there was a depression on the floor covered by a rug where it could be a trip hazard. There were also a few buckling ceiling tiles over one of the beds. Best of all, NO hot water. Mind you, the weather dipped in the 30s and heavy rain. All to say - GO and don't stay here.

Good - Owner was very accommodating to our needs. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, Could be better - Difficult to tell where the office was. Some late check-in people were very noisy. Rooms are very outdated and need to be spruced up (peeling wallpaper, some locks not functional. Holes in wall where headboard and bathroom heater were.)
