Ihanteellinen sijainti ympäri vuoden nautintoa. Tarjoamme tämän kodin vuokrattavana viikolla tai viikonloppuna. Meillä on klubitalo, jossa on kausiluonteinen lämmitetty uima-allas, hiekkalentopallokenttä, koripallokenttä, hevosenkengän kuopat, lasten leikkipaikka, hiiligrilla, piknik-alueet ja puistokeinut. Tästä kodista on näkymät kuohuviiniä 3-hehtaarin uima-järvelle, jolla on hiekkaranta. Järvi on varustettu kaloilla, jotka sopivat hyvin lapsille. Klubitalo voidaan vuokrata yksityisjuhliin.
Nyt avoin, Michiganin suurin sisävesipuisto, Avalanche Bay vain 10 minuutin päässä.
Kevään aika tuo alueellemme vuosittaisen Morel-sieni-festivaalin. Tätä aluetta pidetään valtion hienoimpana Morelin metsästyksessä. Kevät on myös upea kalastukseen monien alueen järvien ja purojen alueella.
Kesäaika ei voi olla hauskempaa kuin jäädä ja pelata tarjoamallasi kauniilla alueella. Golfarit voivat pelata yli 30 kurssia 30 mailin säteellä tästä kodista.


Meillä on lukuisia rantoja ja järviä, joista koko perhe voi nauttia. Upeat ostosmahdollisuudet, pyöräily, veneily, melonta, kiertoajelut ja lukuisat ovat kaikki muutamassa minuutissa.
Mackinacin saari on alle tunnin ajomatkan päässä. Mackinacin saari on yksi länsimaailman hienoimmista nähtävyyksistä. Se on maamerkki Grand Hotel on ollut aiheena sekä elokuvissa että kappaleissa. Saarella on autojen kielto, mikä vahvistaa voimakasta historiaa, joka hallitsee rehevää maisemaa. Tämä on pakko nähdä kaikille, kun oleskelet kotona.
Syksy tuo hyvää aikaa vierailla alueellamme. Syksyn värimatkoja pidetään yhtenä hienoimmista Michiganin tarjonnasta. Golf syksyllä voi olla vuoden nautinnollisin, sillä väkijoukkoja on vähemmän ja kauniit putoamanäkymät alueen maisemaan. Syksyiset lomat voivat myös olla erittäin rentouttavia vähemmän väkijoukkojen kanssa.

Laskettelu laskettelurinteessä Boyne Mountain (10 minuutin päässä), Boyne Highlands ja Nub's Nob -lomakeskuksissa tarjoavat yli 100 juoksua yli 30 hiihtohissillä. Maastohiihto yli 350 kilometrin reiteillä, jotka vievät kauniiden metsien läpi ja järvien ja purojen varrella
ovat kaikki lähellä. Lumilautailu, letkut ja luistelu ovat myös saatavilla lähistöllä.
Satojen mailien hoidettujen polkujen ja kausiteiden moottorikelkkailu voidaan nauttia tämän kodin kynnyksestä. Moottorikelkka-asunnot ovat saatavilla. Olemme Michiganin sydän lumivyö.
Mahtavaa 4 vuodenajan lomapaikkaa Pohjois-Michiganissa alueemme ei voi lyödä.
Äskettäin päivitetty vuodelle 2017 (Uusi matto alemmalla tasolla, uusi ruokasali, uudet taulutelevisiot, makuuhuoneet maalattu uudelleen ja uudet sängynpäällysteet. Kaikki kylpyammeet on nyt päivitetty, uudet ulkokäyttöön tarkoitettu kaasugrilli ja patiohuonekalut.)

Northern Michigan Getaway
We had a great stay at the Roundhouse. It's centrally located near Petosky, Charlevoix, and a Boyne and not too far of a drive from other Northern Michigan hotspots like Mackinaw City and Traverse City. For us the highlight was the giant yard with a ton of room for lawn games, kite flying, camp fires, s'more's and "stellar" star gazing.

Wonderful stay
This was a very comfortable home for 4 families! The set up was great with each family getting a "wing" of the house with their own bathroom. Two separate living areas and kitchens were a huge bonus too. We loved the pool, large yard, and pond. There were plenty of yard games and tables set up for outside fun! Nice proximity to Boyne City and Petoskey for day trips.

Great Place for young children
We picked this place because it was close to Petoskey, Mackinaw Island and Boyne Mountain. Our young grandkids like the turtles, fish and pool. My grand kids also liked going to Lake Michigan and searching for Petoskey stones and Miniature Golf. My older children liked the big yard for playing games outside. We had 11 of us and each family had their own wing and bathroom. My older kids liked it because we could just stay where we were and relax. We liked the pickleball court, shuffleboard and ice cream store in Walloon. Walloon even had a beach if you didn't want to go to Lake Michigan. I liked the river walk in Downtown Petoskey. My family said they would definitely come back if we decided to vacation near Petoskey again. The host of this venue had a well stocked kitchen. The washer and dryer was nice to have too.

Great family vacation
This place was perfect for our family vacation with 14 people. The grandkids loved both the pond and the pool. We were close enough to everything where me made day trips to several locations - including Mackinaw Island. The host was exceptional, and communication was great. Everyone had a wonderful time. Highly recommend.

Great family getaway
The owner of the property was very nice and was on top of everything. He replaced the microwave when it wasn’t working and replaced the grill with a new grill when it wasn’t working. I would highly recommend this VRBO for large groups. It is centrally located and you can branch out to any of the amazing lakes and cities around there. The kids had a blast in the swimming pool and down by the pond. I discovered food under some of the beds, which is a negative to the house cleaning lady. I forgot to tell the owner. The bedrooms are small as stated. We are looking forward to returning next year for another amazing family week.

You won’t be disappointed
We had a party of 10. The 7 bedrooms and 4 baths worked perfect for us. The pool was fun for the 3 grandchildren (6, 12, 14). Neighbors in the community were very pleasant. Bob and Lisa were very accommodating when we asked to have a delivery made prior to us getting to the house. All of their suggestions for things to do in the area did not disappoint. My hope is to come back again soon

Good place with all necessary things
We enjoyed the stay at this place. The house had all the amenities as listed. The surrounding is scenic. The round view from living is awesome. Bob communicated all the details in advance and had no hassles checking in and stay. The only thing that was heard from the group was that the rooms could have been more spacious. But not a big deal. Thank you Bob and Lisa.

Thanks for a great stay! The house was comfy and provided plenty of space for our group of 12 adults (6 couples) to enjoy our annual getaway, take in the surrounding area attractions, and to just kick back and relax.

Nice place for a large group
Great location to explore the surrounding areas with multiple towns, beaches, etc within 15-20 min drive. Large grocery stores (Meijer, Walmart, etc) are also within this distance. The house itself is fine, but is older. Nothing decadent but serves it's purpose. Lovely bonfire pit outside and small lake for fishing as well as pool were great add-ons for the families.

Family vacation
Family vacation, there was 16 people in our group 10 adults two teenagers four kids. The way the house is set up with two room and bathroom wings was a phenomenal, it worked out perfect for all of us. Lots for the kids to do nobody was bored, in fact we all are all left exhausted. Great location for sightseeing. Would definitely Recommend.

Great Family Vacation Location
Our extended family of 15 - 5 households in all - enjoyed a great relaxing week with our ATVs at this house. We used the pool, fished in the pond, played yard games in the large open yard space, grilled and had campfires every night. Check in and out was easy! A great Northern Michigan get-away.

This property is wonderful for families. Stayed here with my 6 grandchildren and adult children (13 total). The 7 bedrooms allowed the grandchildren to bunk 2 to a room and the adults had their own room. The house is almost set up as 2 different ones with a kitchen on each level (2 refrigerators to store food for large groups). The grandchildren claimed the upper floor as their own since their bedrooms were there. The property is in close to the lake (right in backyard), the pool and playground. We could watch the children at the lake and play area. Adults accompanied the children to the pool. Amazing firepit with firewood provided. Many memories were made. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

Decent place to stay with a large group. A lot of things to do around the property including pool, pond, fishing, volleyball, fire pit, put put golf. Only downside was bedrooms are very small and AC units only serve living areas. Overall we enjoyed the place!

Great Stay!
We had a great vacation at this house! Bob was great with responding quickly to our questions prior to arrival and during our stay. The house accommodated our 12 family members ranging in ages from 8 months old- 65 years old with plenty of room to sleep and shower. The kids caught fish in the pond behind the house daily and had a great time in the pool. We really enjoyed Deer Lake and Petoskey State Park for the beach and swimming. The house had plenty of room for the kids to run around and we enjoyed having bonfires. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again! :-)

We had a lovely week at the Roundehause! It’s cozy and plenty of room for our group of 13!
We always look for a house where everyone can enjoy time together but also have private space as well. We want clean, cozy and fun things to do. This house gave us all of that and more. We had 4 separate families so 4 bathrooms worked out great, each family had their own. 7 bedrooms, 2 sleeping 3 kids each were great. My dad uses a cane so the stairs were a challenge so he stayed on the first floor where we served meals and played games each night. It was nice to have the upstairs living room as well where the kids watched movies and played video games separately from us. 2 refrigerators was a huge plus with the size of our group. We only went out to dinner once and cooked all our other meals. The kitchen was well stocked, we had everything we needed. All linens were provided and towels as well. A huge plus was the putting green right outside the back door. The boys loved it and used it every day. It was nice the owners had clubs and balls in the utility room. The fire pit and picnic tables were great. We had fires and s’mores each night as well as a few ghost stories. The pool pass was used a few times for the kids to swim. We took walks around the lake and spent time on the bridge looking at the fish and turtles. We used the Volley Ball court and played a lot of Corn Hole ( we brought that game with us) in the back yard. It was fun to sit out on the deck and watch the kids play! The house has internet service and TV but the best part was that everyone put their phones down and barely watched TV at all and spent time outside and enjoying each other. This is a rental house/cabin in the north and has imperfections but I loved how my kids said it was vintage and they loved it. The owner was responsive to every question and prompt with his answers. The only thing we would suggest people bring is sticks for toasting Marshmallows and games to play at night. We have been renting thru VRBO for about 9 years now and this house gets 5 stars from us. We will be back!
