Tämä HGTV-esitelty koti on täydellinen lomapaikka !. Tämä koti sijaitsee lyhyen kävelymatkan tai jopa lyhyemmän ajomatkan päässä rannalta ja kalastuslaiturilta, ja golfkenttä on puoli kilometrin päässä! Se on aivan pyöräilyreitin ja Salt Creek -leikkipaikan vieressä. Koti tukee myös Salt Creekiä, hiljaista puroa, joka sopii erinomaisesti lintuihin, kalastukseen tai melontaan takapihalla!

Kalustettu viimeisimmässä saaretyylisessä kodissa on gourmet-keittiö, jossa on ruostumattomat laitteet ja graniittitasot, ja ylelliset kylpyhuoneet, joista toisessa on kaksi suihkupäätä ja toisessa syvä kylpyamme. Kolmessa makuuhuoneessa on suora pääsy kylpyyn. Yläkerrassa voit nauttia kotiteatterista / pelihuoneesta, jossa on mini biljardipöytä. Tämä toimii myös 4. makuuhuoneena, täysikokoisena sängynä, jossa on tuft- ja neulapatja (vuodesta 7/14/18). Kaksi erillistä futonia (parhaiten lapsille) yläkerran oleskelualueella nukkuu vielä 2, yhteensä 10 vuodetta.

Amazing property!
My family of six thoroughly enjoyed this house! The space was great and there were so many amenities, including lots of pool floaties and beach toys. The pool was definitely our favorite part! The trees surrounding the property made it feel very private and secluded, which was great. We all felt so comfortable here! When we had an issue with the oven not working, Julie was so easy to get a hold of and solved the problem quickly. The only thing I would add is towels for the pool. We drove so it wasn’t a big deal to bring our own, but if people are flying in, it might be more of a hassle to bring them along. We would definitely stay here again!!

Family Fun
Great time at this lovely home. We really enjoyed having the pool as a break from the beach. The ping pong table and corn hole was nice to have too. I will miss my morning coffee on the front porch.

Our second stay at this home!
We have been renting homes on VRBO for over 20 years and we have had some great rentals. This is the first one we have stayed at for a second time- and we hope to come back again next year!! The house is absolutely perfect. It is spacious and has every amenity you can think of. The beds are super comfy- even for the one in our party who is pretty particular about such things! We have been staying in April and the water temperature in the pool is perfect! We are up and out daily as dawn breaks and we are usually heading to Shell Mounds to see what birds might be migrating through. Some days we are delayed as there are often some pretty amazing birds right there in our own yard! This year we had a bald eagle who would regularly come and sit in the pines. Some days he was just resting- other days he would come in with his catch of the day and we would have some really up close and personal views of him. The house is centrally located on the island-you can get anywhere in just a few minutes! We regularly got take out from various restaurants and would bring the food back to eat on the screened in porch so we could watch the wildlife while we ate. The yard is large and private and surrounded by woods and the brook in the back. Julie is the perfect hostess- if you ever have any questions- she responds immediately. I am so thankful we have found this home, it really is our slice our heaven get-away! Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Exceptional Home on Dauphin Island
We have never stayed in a property so well appointed before … every detail was seen to and well thought out. The kitchen was simply superb with every item imaginable available and in good supply. The same could be said for the entire house, inside and out/poolside. The dorm-style room upstairs proved perfect for the grandkids. The laundry was exceptionally handy. Closets and storage kept us easily organized. The owners were extremely accommodating, personable, and attentive … genuinely caring for our needs. We simply cannot recommend this home enough!

Well stocked, extremely comfortable and spacious!
I can’t say enough good things about the house and the hosts. The house is amazingly well stocked, especially for kids. Not having to drag all our baby gear down was so helpful. The beds are very comfortable with high quality sheets, there are so many spaces to be you never feel crowded and there is great space away from the neighbors. We much prefer the smaller, local, unhurried feel of Dauphin Island over the hurried, commercialized feel of Ft Morgan/Gulf Shores. Hosts are responsive and easy to work with. I’ve already recommended this place to friends!

A perfect stay
The house itself and location were perfect. We had an unforgettable stay and the recommendations were perfect. Being just minutes away from many different beaches was so great. The house had everything we needed. We ate at Skinners 2x during our stay. Had to give them a special mention. Farmers market, aquarium, bakery, gift shops, golfing and beaches everywhere. Would definitely stay again.

Had an AMAZING WEEK!
The house was absolutely wonderful! Very clean and just as described. Pool was so nice to relax in at the end of day, loved the shelf at the end. Every morning I had breakfast on the screened in porch. We all spent quite a bit of time out there. Next time we're bringing kayaks for the creek behind the house! Ideal Vacation Home
We have rented many vacation homes in the past but this one is the first that truly had EVERYTHING to make your home away from home an exceptional stay! Comfy beds, A/C that works remarkably, extremely clean and the best screened in patio! We had 3 families that included kids aged 13, 11, 3, 1 1/2. Our kids loved fishing in the creek, playing wiffle ball in the yard, swimming, riding the provided bikes to the park and basketball court that’s right around the corner from the house and of course hanging at the beach… need I say more? They were entertained the entire time which allowed the grownups to relax a little! The inside of the house was stocked and organized with all the essentials plus additional items that came in handy! If there is one note I would drop to upcoming renters, don’t buy coffee filters! There are enough to last a lifetime. Ha!

Excellent family home
We left our stay here. It was great to divide our time between swimming in the pool, kayaking down the salt creek to the bay and going to the beach. The house is laid out nicely for a family group. It was close to everything, including the bakery, the store, the beach, restaurants, and did I mention the bakery. Julie was very responsive and we had some trouble with the dishwasher. She got it fixed right away. It was nice to have the bikes available as well as beach equipment. Thank you again for allowing us to stay.

Relaxing Vacay
When we entered the property our whole family was impressed. The house is absolutely beautiful. I was especially impressed by the cleanliness of the property. Everything was sparkling clean. This is the cleanest VRBO that we have stayed in. The stay was very relaxing. I highly recommend taking a ferry ride across the bay and going to visit Orange Beach. The pool and pool table were a lot of fun for the whole family. Overall relaxing and just what we needed. Great communication by the host. Thanks for everything!

Truly Magical!!!
WOW! This was the perfect vacation house for our bird watching trip! The house was quite spacious! The beds were super comfortable – which was very welcome after a day spent walking and exploring. The house did not lack any amenities. I do love going places and finding the fridge totally empty and ready for our groceries - that was great! My husband spent much of his time on his computer and the internet speed was perfect for his needs as well. The kitchen is well appointed though I never did take time to cook- we got takeout from the local area restaurants daily and sat out on the screen porch to enjoy our dinners. The backyard is quite large and very private and with the canal and trees- it was just so peaceful watching the birds while we ate. The outdoor furniture is very comfy and I would often find my husband asleep out there! After birding all morning we would take mid-day breaks and come home and jump In the pool and get refreshed before our afternoon and early evening explorations! After the first day I would not go out to the pool without my camera as I never knew what kind of bird would pop by while we were out there. I had not expected that the house itself would become such a hot spot for birds! One day new were out exploring all the bird hot spots- and we were in search of the painted bunting. We had no luck. When we got back to the house and pulled in the driveway- what was in the yard?? A painted bunting!!! Here is a list of birds we found in the yard at the house: Painted Bunting!, Indigo Bunting (50+), Green Heron, Great Blue Heron, Osprey, Eastern Bluebird, Blue Grosbeak, Rose Breasted Grosbeak, Summer Tanager, Cedar Waxwings, Yellow-throated Warbler, Common Yellow-throat, Great Crested Flycatcher, Common Nighthawk, Belted Kingfisher, Blue-headed Vireo, Pine Warbler, Hooded Warbler, Swainson's Thrush, Orchard Oriole, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Solitary Sandpiper, Northern Cardinal, Mockingbird, Blue Jay, Mourning Dove, Red-bellied Woodpecker, House Wren, Carolina Wren, Brown Pelican, American Robin, Fish Crow, Laughing Gull, Cowbird!! I am still amazed!! I loved the mid island location- anyplace we wanted to go was just a few minutes away. Julie was very quick to answer any questions and was the perfect hostess! We will be back!!!

We had an amazing time here. Kids were in the pool by 8am most days. Good beaches at either end of the island. Used the bikes quite a bit. Would definitely stay here again!
