Decent budget hotel with challenges

Saint Mary's is a very low-key, safe place to stay over at. Overall the furnishings were fairly well kept. The service when needed was always prompt and friendly. Hopefully they will use the following comments to improve what's already a pretty decent hotel. The toilet paper dispenser in our 2 twin bed room was rusted out, totally speckled with rust. There were spider webs in the corner of the room with of course spiders. The one public bathroom on the 1st floor was infested with baby flies that no one did anything about the three days we were there. It did make me wonder what's going on in the areas that we couldn't see like the laundry room or the kitchen where they prepare the free breakfast. Most of the "free" breakfasts used some sort of tasteless instant eggs, although we were pleasantly surprised the last day of our stay when they made a very tasty vegetable omelet. Next time we'll get a little larger room at a Holiday Express.The one we got was a bit small for 3 nights- There was only one chair for the two of us beyond the desk chair. The sink was in the main room instead of in the bathroom so unfortunately it was easier for somebody up in the middle of the night to wake up the other person. Okay one final thing, the parking lot was a tad dangerous. There was no guard rail or anything to stop your car if you went a little off the driveway, and your car would plunge down a thirty foot steeply sloped grassy drop.
