Estes Park Registration #3232  Approval Number: 20-NCD0261 Incredible Historic 1910 Cabin with unobstructed Longs Peak & Continental Divide Views! Fully updated for year-round living and contemporary comforts. Charming cabin is a 2BR/2BA with soaring native stone fireplace, newly refinished original hardwood floors, updated kitchen with granite, and vintage Estes Park character make this a great home for your vacation. Incredible views from the beautiful large deck and only steps from your door is Rocky Mountain National Park. TV service occasionally unreliable due to mountain reception. There is a 3 car maximum at the property. Water can sometimes have an "sulfur" smell due to it being on a well and there being natural minerals in the water. You will just need to run the hot water for a little and the smell will dissipate. We get the water tank cleaned often to reduce the smell. The water is safe to use and consume.

Great location, close to national park.
Cozy cabin. Great location to national park and the town. Property MGMT was excellent. Only negative is the bedding (pillows) could be upgraded. Pretty common for anywhere though.

Wonderful place and great management!
This is such a wonderful property, secluded with a great view. I was in a crunch and they were able to assist in such a generous way and were so helpful! Would highly recommend this property or any other property under this management company. Very satisfied!

Convenient location right next to Beaver Meadow visitor center.. Quiet, but close to the main strip (Elkhorn Ave) of Estes Park. Only complaint is that the thermostat is not adjustable and the heat at night made it difficult to sleep comfortably.

Perfect location
We had the best stay. The location is perfect. Avoided all construction getting to the park. Just minutes from the gate. Pop over at 6 AM and virtually no waiting. If you want to beat the 5 AM reservation requirement to get into Bear Lake, you are right there. We did sunrise at Sprague Lake several times and didn't even need our reservations. Being so close was such a time saver. The place was clean. There were plenty of comfortable beds. Other reviews have talked about the water. It does have a smell, but it is the same smell that all of the water in this area has. It is the minerals in it. We didn't even notice it after a day or so. Let's talk about the night views. This area is a dark sky community. You have a million-dollar view of the Milky Way at night on the deck. Just stunning. During our stay, we were visited by deer and elk. Sitting on the deck for coffee, magpies would land on the railing to check you out. I really hope we can make it back to the park. If we do, I will not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect cabin for those who come to Estes to relax & enjoy the landscape.
My husband & I have always wanted to stay in this cabin. It's beautiful & cozy. Amazing views. Only complaint is the check out time is way too early. But we would LOVE to stay here again. Our family owns a VRBO property just down the road & we would pay to stay here instead, in the future, just because we didn't have time to enjoy it. We highly recommend this property if you want a chill, cozy cabin to enjoy the landscape & nature. Well done, owners & property managers.

Winter Wonderland!
This was just what we needed for our Christmas getaway. The property had amazing view of mountains from windows. It is the first house off main road so not too difficult to get to, but if there is snow it might be good to have chains. We had a little trouble with the heaters but they came very quickly with firewood, and had us fixed up in no time. They were also out with plow and shovels to get us out in the snowstorm. Also, be warned that all the water in Estes has high mineral content, so bring bottled water if that bothers you. We loved our stay, great book selection, kitchen well-stocked, comfortable bed, just what we needed!

Who likes stinky water..
NO DISHWASHER, but your ad says there is one Some dish ware was not clean, had hard food The unfortunate point, water had horrible smell and we didn’t feel safe to drink. When you showered smelled up the whole house. So ended up taking less showers. The best part was location and views, I would rent again but unfortunately water is big issue and no dishwasher. Guest bath had no water pressure from sink faucet. I payed a lot of money and felt I didn’t get my monies worth. We made the best of it and made good memories. Enjoyed the quietness too. Sorry for honest comments, this place has such potential for referrals. Not this time.

Bad experience.
A. Upon arrival 6 pm - bad smell like decay animal. (had to leave message for someone to contact us....was next day!) We were told smell was garbage disposal (that is not where smell was originating) B. No bath wash cloths. Called twice. Promised to deliver, never delivered any during our stay. C. Some windows could not be opened. D. Some inside area in need of repair. E. Washer and dryer located in large room with bathroom. no partitions. F. Property listed with dishwasher - NOT !!! Also the departure list of things to do states "place any dirty dishes in dishwasher and turn on". D. The grounds outside are not very well kept. This unit is over priced for what you get. Location is the only appealing thing going for this unit. Very disappointed.

Beautiful setting
We loved our stay at this cabin! The setting is beautiful, with fabulous mountain views from the porch, bedroom windows, and kitchen window. The location was perfect for us--five minutes from RMNP and ten minutes from downtown Estes Park. We liked being a little bit off the beaten path in a quieter part of town. The cabin was cozy and comfortable for our family of four. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, as we ate several meals there. Everything was as described. It feels rustic but updated. We suggest bringing drinking water or using a filtered pitcher, as the water tasted a little off. Overall, a fantastic place for people who are looking for a beautiful, quiet cabin near Estes.

Estes Park Cabin in a perfect location.
We had a wonderful time seeing the park, hiking some trails and a very comfortable cabin to come and relax at the end of the day. I loved that you could walk up the road and into the park since I was up and ready to go before everyone else. The only suggestion I have would be a few more wine glasses and some hand towels and washcloths would be nice. Also the directions say to put dishes in the Dishwasher and turn it on before leaving but we never found the dishwasher? We all really enjoyed the location and the comfort of the cabin and hope we can come back in the future.

Well Situated Oasis
This home is well situated to RMNP and will offer you a great base to strike in and out of the park as you see fit. (25 minutes to rainbow curve). There were some odd omissions but nothing striking enough to sway your vacation. Could use some kitchen towels, some TLC on the cabinets/sliders, fixes to screens etc. Would stay again.

Great place to stay!
We liked the location very much. Has a spectacular view of Long's Peak and a lot more. Recently renovated and well appointed. Restaurants are nearby. Even closer is the park's main entrance. Also, we stayed in October and now know about elk bugling which happened in the dark seemingly right outside the door, 50-100' anyway. 2 BR with 3 twins and a King, two bathrooms. It is over 100 years old and not a luxury condo, it is a very nice cabin outside of town in the mountains of north central Colorado.

Very Nice
The property was as advertised. Clean & well maintained. Nice little cabin overlooking the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Bit of traffic noise during the day, but very quiet and peaceful at night. Saw tons of wild life off the deck or across the road. Would definitely stay there again.

Cozy cabin, very close to RMNP
Our family recently stated at this cabin near Rocky Mountain National Park. It was fabulous! Perfect for our family of four (two adults and two children, ages 8 and 2). Our main purpose for our trip was to enjoy the park and the location of the cabin was perfect--about 2 minutes away from the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center and a few minutes more to the park entrance. The cabin itself was a great size and had the feel of a cabin with wood paneling and a beautiful stone fireplace. There is a great deck looking over the peaks of the park and it was wonderful to sit outside in the morning with our coffee looking at a beautiful mountain setting. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay and we were very comfortable there. It was clean and the laundry was a bonus too, especially with children! The location of the cabin is perfect for exploring the national park but also for going into Estes Park. We only went into town once or twice (it is very busy in the summer and parking is limited). The town is fine but we came for RMNP and so the cabin kept us away from the hustle and bustle but still made it easy to get into town if necessary. I highly recommend staying at this cabin!

Enjoyable, comfortable, close to RMNP, and to Estes Park downtown.
Great location, although it is difficult to find at night. Far enough away from town to avoid significant traffic, but shopping and restaurants are short driving distances. Comfortable furnishings. Kitchen is serviceable. Great deck. Very quiet. The only limitation is the bathroom for the master bedroom is very small.

Incredible Views
Four of us stayed for a few nights here. We enjoyed standing on the deck looking at the valley and mountains in front of us, no other houses blocking the view. The house was clean and well stocked with cups, dishes, dish soap, laundry detergent, bath towels, pillows, blankets, etc. The wifi in the house was sufficient, but if we were staying longer a second TV would be nice. We stayed in June and there was no need for AC, windows were good enough and it was cool at night and had to close the windows. Elk were always in the area grazing, a lot of the time could be seen from the house. It's near the visitor center of the national park and just a quick drive to the city center of Estes Park where there was plenty of parking. We had a couple questions before arriving and the owner quickly responded. Thanks for having us.

Great view, great porch, has some issues
My family and I stayed at the cabin over the Memorial Day weekend holiday. The neighbors were very friendly. The cabin is a good size with a good layout. The kitchen is well equipped with pots/pans, utensils, and basic spices. The porch is fantastic and the view of Longs Peak can not be beat. Absolutely gorgeous. You can walk less than 100 yards and be in the Beaver Meadows Visitors Center and catch the shuttle into the park. But unfortunately, we had a few issues while we were there. The internet did not work, which we reported to the owner but they were unable to fix because of the holiday weekend. Also, whenever we ran hot water, regardless of the source or how long we let the water run, a putrid sulfur smell accompanied the water. Really, it was the worst rotten egg smell that would linger in the cabin for hours. Not to mention that we had to take showers in the smelly water, which we tried to avoid but could for only so long after hiking in the park every day. The smell was reported to the owner who responded they had never heard of the issue before and that they would look into it. A couple of other things: the cabin wasn't very clean when we arrived - there were dead bugs on window sills and the floors, the toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a couple of months, and there was dirty laundry in the washing machine. It made me think that maybe the cabin had just been opened for the first time in awhile and they didn't do a proper cleaning. Also, the checkout instructions were confusing and/or impossible to follow but were accompanied with threats of retaining parts of the security deposit if not completed. We were told to wash and put away all dishes, but were provided nothing to wash the dishes with - we ended up using an extra washcloth. We were also told to start a load of towels in the washing machine, but couldn't find any detergent to wash them with (which might be why the dirty load was in there when we arrived). To be fair, the owner was quick to respond to my emails even if she couldn't resolve them. I think that all of the issues we encountered could be easily resolved and, if so, then this cabin could be an absolute gem.

Perfect Location
Our High Drive stay was 3 nights in early March. A perfect location. Privacy, yet only minutes from anything we may have needed. We had plenty of room; a wonderful view of Longs Peak; enjoyed the natural stone look in the eating area and fireplace/stove with antique accents, while having modern conveniences. Really enjoyed the layout, with bedrooms and baths on opposite sides of the living room area. The woodstove looked safe, but we did not use it as the furnace was enough to keep us comfortable. We both appreciated the upgraded electrical; in particular, the grounded outlets. The only questionable things were not being able to learn more about the property before arrival... each visit to the website was the same: check back later. And that there was no tv or radio for local news/weather. We each had phones, so used those to stay on top of the snow as it moved through. No complaints at all. Oh, and it was really special having a welcome committee of about 8 or 9 mule deer on arrival. Will definitely stay here again!
