Rude front desk staff. Breakfast was not being refilled. Sausage was undercooked. The pool needs to be fixed. We had people next to our room smoking pot and the front desk did nothing about it. Our room smelled so bad. I am allergic to it and I could hardly breathe. Overall I would never stay again.

The low star for staff is directly reflected on the managers lack of care for the customer in all sense of the services. Very dismissive, careless, arrogant, not very professional for the position she obtained. My experience there wasn't great, however I will give credit to the receptionist who attended me and many others that rushed in when we arrived. This place was really understaffed and clearly needed more hands on deck. That being said, my reservation was on file but not ready although I arrived around 5pm and check in was at 3. Returned at 9pm after having dinner close by. The room I was offered on the first floor wasn't the one I got (don't know why) got 6th floor family room. No Sheetz available for the pull out sofa, the room itself was very outdated and the furniture was not the most comfortable. Here's my biggest complaint and why I refused to stay there for the rest of my initial booking. There was loud music being played up until 2am as if there was some sort of club running nearby. In between all the music noise, I could also hear multiple people going to town on each other (sexually) not the kind of thing I want my 11 year old and 9 year old to have to listen to or wake up to. Seems like the walls are very thin or these people were just extremely loud. Not sure and quite honestly don't care to know. Just wanted out of that place immediately after that, and I could not sleep the rest of the night because of all this. Manager on duty didn't care to know any

Getting from the airport to the hotel was a bit confusing. We called the hotel and the shuttle did arrive...eventually. checkin was easy as I had completed the pre checkin. Room iwas very basic and looks a bit tired but comfortable. Walking distance to several restaurants, red lobster, tgif, millers ale house, sub way. Very safe to walk. Nice pool area beside the river. Staff was very friendly and professional. Good place for an overnight before or post cruise.
