Stay where the locals stay - North Beach! 2 Bedroom beach cottage just steps from the ocean. Take about 30 steps across the main road and your feet are in the sand. About 2 miles from Hampton Beach, far enough away to escape the traffic but close enough to enjoy all of the attractions. Bring your surfing gear as some of the best waves on the seacoast are at your front door.

Cottage includes full size kitchen, living room, outdoor patio.

Guests have access to the entire house. Guests will be able to access the cottage with a Touchscreen key-less smart-lock.

Dr Frankenstein must have remodeled this place

This place provided the bare minimum. The electric baseboard heaters barely worked; doors did not close properly, unfinished painting of walls and shelving, furniture was ratty, carpet was old and worn, the shower stall was so small and narrow for even a medium sized man.

No frills

The pictures are accurate. We came off season for a girls weekend with friends. Cottage is small, shabby. Furniture is clearly from flea market or thrift store, though surprisingly comfortable. Kitchen is well-equipped, except for flatware, which is sparse. Light flickered too much to even use. Weird 70s senior picture display on fridge. (?) Door to queen bed room doesn't close. Outlets are also sparse and are hidden behind furniture, often loose and things won't stay plugged in. Bedroom closets are in fact one closet that opens on either side. No privacy at all. Front porch is about to rot through. Although the ocean is only about a block away, there is no beach for swimming nearby. That all said, for the off-season price we paid, we didn't feel cheated and had a good time.

Your typical beach house for the area. Tyler is an Amazing host who is very easy to get a hold of and will go above & beyond to make sure your trip is a best as it can be! Only down fall for the teenagers was the smoothie place is closed til next year

Our stay was very nice. Had great weather. The place was very clean. Outdated but charming. The rugs were a little rough but with it being the end of a busy summer that is to be expected. Location to the beach was great. Other than really no place you could walk to get a bite to eat it was Excellent. (There was a recent fire that took out both eateries).

Walking distance to beach no need to find or pay for beach parking. House could use some updating. My only complaint is the security camera that is aimed at the back patio area where we spent most of our time.

Misleading pictures and overpriced

Be clear, you are paying for the location of a block from the beach. The house would be overpriced at a quarter of what we paid. A couple caveats - we stayed for 1 night so the cleaning fee wasn’t spread over many nights; we looked at the pictures and description and it seemed bigger. It is small, dated, and needs a full redo. Someone else may find it’s location great enough to justify the rest. We will not be going back.

Hampton on the beach

Location location location. Beach is right across the street and in this area this charming cottage was a gem to rent. Tyler was attentive to our needs and any questions we had. Property does need some updating as it is showing its age. Just use as a place to sleep we weren't there much as there so much in this area to do. 2 eateries were within walking distance which was awesome! The secret spot serves breakfast and was a great wake-up for our family.

Pretty Simple!

Clean and neat. But a little on the shabby side. No table per say for the family to eat on. Very simple. Electrical wire hanging from the baseboard in the kitchen. A little to pricey for what you get. A modified garage.

Quick excursion

We were in town for a concert event and opted to extend our excursion overnight. The cottage was tidy and the location was fantastic - easy access to the beach yet quiet and safe for walking. Tyler was very responsive and even helped with parking information for the concert venue.

Great Beach Cottage

My family and I had a great time. It was a perfect location. We could wake up and walk to the beach. There was also a great breakfast place within walking distance. And lobster rolls at the Beach Plum just a two minute drive up the beach. It was a great weekend get away.

Beach Bach

We planned a beach bachelorette for a mature group and utilize this rental for the location. We wanted something with access to a nice beach but away from the busy strip and this space did the trick. We were able to walk down to the 16th street entrance for a prime beach spot. We chose to do Beach yoga one morning with Retreat 339, so the house really is close enough to still enjoy the Hampton strip. Then, a quick drive up to Portsmouth for dinner. Tyler is the man!
