Cheap and close to attractions but meh

Place is dated, but mostly clean. I booked a room with a king size bed 2 months in advance, when my husband and I arrived we were given a room with 2 full size beds and told that our booking app must have been responsible for the error. Then said that that only have 1 king room and it is out of order. Beds were not comfortable at all, but the shower was hot and had good pressure. No ice anywhere to be found, so keep that in mind.

the staff at the desk when I checked in was friendly but the toilet in my room wasn’t even attached to the floor. I told them that it wasn’t leaking but I needed to make her aware so I wasn’t charged for damages and they advised that they were aware and that all the rooms were pretty much like that because of shotty work done by the contractor.

I read in other reviews that the free breakfast was a joke so I wasn’t expecting much. Don’t go to this hotel if you are expecting a normal hotel breakfast. My family and I stayed there because I was able to get three rooms for the price of 1 room at another Hershey Hotel. You get what you pay for… that’s the best that I can say about the hotel experience. The staff seemed disinterested and the rooms were what you would expect for $47 a night. If you just need a place to crash after going to the park all day this place is ok, but I would probably not stay there again.

The hotel was all right I think a lot of hotels need to get rid of their carpeting it's very nasty, stained and dirty just like in our room. We were given a handicap room which I don't understand besides the fact that I requested a king size bed when I booked the room. Nonetheless the room was all right no bag for the ice bucket, no cups in the room our bathroom sink look like it was detaching off the wall and when I kind of pushed it back it knocked it off the pipe so I had to put the bucket underneath the sink to catch the water I let the front desk personnel know he seen it and basically said to leave the bucket underneath the sink and he'll have maintenance look at it but not that day another day. 🙄 I like that the windows actually open I like to have fresh air in the room. We couldn't find the ice machine. The shower curtain had mold on it there's an easy solution to that either wash the curtain or buy PEVA mold resistant shower curtain. I spent the whole day at Hershey and when we came back there was no parking in the front so I had to park in the back there was a customer coming out to get something from his car and I asked him if we needed the key to get into the back door and he said no and rightfully so there is no key entry in the back which mean anyone can come into the hotel and the biggest problem that I had with this hotel which would probably make me not booked again with Super 8 is there's NO POOL..... Fall and winter fine but summer and no pool not good.
