I liked the free food. The bed was comfy and the bathroom very accommodating with shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and a variety of towels plus hand clothes. I would like to see something in terms of skin care like a dandruff shampoo and lotion. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Good company and conversation.

My husband and I with our Animals stayed here until we bought our New House in Hudson. The Staff have been so helpful and Friendly. Check in was without issues. Staff has been very helpful in finding places to eat and on places to visit. Very Nice place to stay

Horrible state of disrepair. Very dirty and musty odor. Not sure what the situation was for the third floor of this hotel as the sign at the front desk said a cash deposit was required for the third floor. Would not recommend or stay again.

Pull out bed had pee stains…whe. Bedding was requested they provided sheets but said no blankets or pillows were available (even though room was reserved for 5 two weeks in advance). Free breakfast was cold cereal or stale muffins. Shower had mold in it. Entire non-smoking floor (including our room) smelled like marijuana.

I've stayed this property in the past and had a good experience. But it doesn't look like it's been updated or repaired in years. There is blue paint on many surfaces of my room. The office chair at the desk had all the fake leather peeled off of it and can be sat on because it just kept coming off of my clothes. The shower bar was broken. It had an incredibly limited breakfast. The refrigerator made so much noise I had to unplug it. The AC was on its last legs. The bed sheets were old and shrunk and kept popping up around the edges. Despite asking for new sheets and a bed turned down service, it was not provided. I ended up having to change the sheets myself. The staff were great but the facilities were disappointing.

I reserved a room with 2 double beds a month ago. They did not have my room. I had to take what I could get. There were no lamps beside the bed, only across the room. There were only 3 small pillows on a king size bed for 2 people. Hairdryer didn't work. Went to get a coffee around 7:30am and there was nothing out. No coffee or food.

I would not recommend a stay at the Days Inn in Hickory. I chose it for its location close to where I needed to be. The hotel is in need of refurbishing - holes in ceiling tiles, walls needing to be stripped and painted. There were boxes in the lobby and dirty towels on the floor as I walked through to my room. The smell in my room was overpowering and smelled like someone smoked in my non smoking room and something was sprayed to cover it up. I opened a window and ran a fan to try to air it out but the Air unit and fan smelled like old smoke too. Very dated fixtures and mold around some of the tub spigot and hot tub jets. The bath spigot was loose and not attached to the wall well. The TV did not have a remote with a “guide” or the ability to log into streaming services - which isn’t a deal breaker - but was annoying on top of everything else. I didn’t bother with breakfast.

Room was in need of repairs, otherwise fine. TV remote didn’t work properly. But the breakfast, awlful. No eggs, very little protein. Had sausage on a biscuit, but not vety good. No consideration for diabetic travelers, with all hi carb options, waffles, cereal, and muffins. Also no half and half, but powdered creamer.
