Large 1,688 square foot Swiss chalet style home in North Lake Tahoe. Located in serene Tyrolian Village, with an unobstructed view of Diamond Peak ski resort and Tahoe National Forest. Surrounded by mountains and a forested greenbelt, footsteps away from hiking and biking trails. This townhome features an open great room with wood-burning stone fireplace and a fully stocked kitchen with a large center island. Everyone in the room can enjoy the high speed wifi and large flat screen TV. There are 2 large decks to BBQ, or just relax and watch the sunrise and moonrise. 3 private bedrooms are located downstairs. A mudroom with level entry is on the ground floor, along with full size washer and dryer. Per local regulations, max occupancy is 4 persons and 1 overnight car.
Winter Activities: Family-friendly Diamond Peak Ski Area is a 2-minute drive. We are also close to Mt. Rose Ski Area, Heavenly, Northstar and Squaw Valley resorts. Cross country ski trails and fun sledding can be found at nearby Tahoe Meadows or Spooner Lake. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended in the winter.
Summer activities: Incline Creek trail is a short walk away and is fantastic for hiking and mountain biking. It is a 5-mile path that extends from Mt. Rose thru Diamond Peak...The Tahoe East Shore Trail (formerly the Incline to Sand Harbor Bike Path) is a spectacular three-mile paved path that provides a new opportunity for the community to experience the natural beauty of the eastern shore of Tahoe. With a 10-foot wide path, it meets the American Disability Act standards to ensure it is accessible to everyone to ride, walk or stroll. The new path begins at the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Highway 28 (3 miles away), expanding the current Lakeshore bike path for three more miles down to the Sand Harbor State Park. Along the way it provides access to Hidden Beach, Memorial Point and various other scenic vistas. It is a major component of the Tahoe Trail that will one day go all the way around the Lake... The renowned Flume Trail, the Tahoe Rim Trail, and a myriad of hiking and biking trails are also in close proximity...Lovely sandy beaches are nearby with Sand Harbor and Kings Beach a short drive away. The highly acclaimed Tahoe Shakespeare Festival is located at Sand Harbor, five minutes away...Top-notch golf can be found at two Incline Village courses, the Championship and Mountain Courses...There is also a community tennis court that you can walk to, no fee required.
