Built to maximize comfort and privacy, the home features bright and airy living spaces including a newly remodeled (in 2024) chef's kitchen, formal sitting room, formal dining room and family/media room. Remodeled with tile flooring, luminous maple wood ceilings and marble countertops, the main living area offers comfortable and updated furnishings that accentuate the views of the turquoise ocean. Floor to ceiling windows maximize the dramatic views and allow gentle breezes to pass through the home for natural ventilation. Down the staircase to the pool deck is a spacious gazebo-style patio that is a perfect place to lounge and enjoy a morning coffee. The private pool deck with incredible sunset views is sure to delight even the most experienced traveler.
The home has two air-conditioned master suites, each facing the Pacific Ocean, both with large en-suite bathrooms and sitting decks. These two master suites are detached from the main house and have their own private entrances from the pool deck, offering added privacy. Inside the main home are three additional bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom and AC. A newly remodeled guest bedroom connected to the living room offers a king size bed, while the two other guest bedrooms each have a pair of twin beds (which can be pushed together to make a king upon request).
Guests of Mauna Kea Fairways North 16 may purchase resort access to use the Mauna Kea Resort Club facilities during your stay for $260/day in 2025 + tax, per RESERVATION (not per person). 2026 fees have yet to be determined and are subject to change. Purchase of this membership includes the following privileges at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Westin Hapuna Beach Hotel facilities: Charging privileges at both hotels for dining and activities, access to hotel beaches and pools, use of towels, lounge chairs, umbrellas, reduced golf rates, tennis (court fees apply), use of two fitness centers (yoga and group classes available for a fee), and an access card for preferred parking at the hotel.
Starting April 2024, the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel will be undergoing a major renovation. The hotel is not planned to be closed entirely - instead the renovation will occur in sections which may, at times, cause interruptions to golf, tennis and hotel services. Please contact the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel- (808) 882-7222 - for more specific information about access during your travel dates. The renovation will be ongoing from April 2024 until the summer of 2025. The Westin Hapuna Hotel will *not* be impacted by the renovation and will be open as normal.
