The Space:
Families, unwind and explore! Timber + Tin D provides the perfect southern Utah basecamp for your family vacation, with everything you need for a relaxing, comfortable and fun stay. With two bedrooms featuring king bed, a queen bed with a trundle, and a sofa bed in the living room, plus two full bathrooms, there's plenty of space.
The open floor plan, accentuated by lofty ceilings and large windows, fills the living room with natural light. The sofa, which doubles as a bed, and chairs mean plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy TV time. We provide Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, Freevee and Roku TV.
Create memorable meals in the modern kitchen, equipped with top-of-the-line appliances. Gather around the dining table or kitchen island for delightful dining experiences.
Outside, you will have your very own barbecue grill, a rooftop deck with table & chairs, and a fire pit (perfect for roasting marshmallows!). As well, you'll have access to all of the common areas, which include a pavilion in the recreation area, games (corn hole!), pool, hot tub, and the restored 1920's barn. Make some new friends and while watching one of the many terrific old Westerns filmed in Kanab, and then play some games in the barn loft.
Guest Access:
You will have access to the entire home and all common areas. Key pad door lock.

- Pavilion, barn, fire pit and play area are open from 9am to 10pm.
- Hot tub is open noon to 10pm all year.
- Pool is closed for the winter November 1st to April 1st; weather permitting.
The Neighborhood:
Timber + Tin D is just a few blocks from the center of town. It's a quick walk to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, museums and the tourism visitor center.
There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops.
Getting Around:
This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon.
Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.
Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.

Your hosts the Jackson family are 7th generation Kanab locals. Their ancestors helped settle this area. They have a deep knowledge and love of Kanab and know all it has to offer. Information about Kanab will be available in each unit through a carefully prepared recommendation book. The owner and management team will be available for emergencies.
