The condo was clean, but the sheets and towels washed in very strong perfumed detergent. Had to rewash them twice to get the smell out. (very nice washer and dryer in unit) Recommend management consider that guests generally prefer no strong odors. Worst we've encountered in all of our numerous stays in hotels, condos, etc. Check in delayed, had to call to get code, not sent to hospitality app as they had said. On day of checkout, workers walked right in without knocking at 8:30AM even though check out time was 11. So, another significant poor management issue. The online website mentioned bringing own beach towels, but the condo is very well equipped including beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella, beach toys etc. The website was otherwise accurate. The view from the deck is gorgeous and the beds comfortable. Kitchen well equipped and nice bathrooms, although the fan and light turn on together and are somewhat loud. The condo does not have A/C, but many fans including ceiling fans kept us comfortable in mid 80's temps. Also great location, although S. Kihie road is busy, we had no problem with getting around. On the way back from Lahaina, we took the North Kihie Rd and saw that the north part is busier, so this location is much preferred IMO. We enjoyed beautiful walks along the nearby beach (Kamaole Beach Park 1). Walking on the sidewalks also easy with good pedestrian crosswalks to cross S. Kihie Rd. to get to several good local restaurants. Cafe O'Lei and Coconuts very close and good food. Also Kihei Caffe and Paia Fish Market still walking distance, but further. Fancier places also close by driving south towards Wailea, such as Nick's at the Fairmont. Had a great stay in spite of poor management issues.
