It was fine.

Overall it was fine. Loved the king/queen combo in the room. That helped to avoid the normal fighting between our kids and was the reason we booked here. No frills, just the essentials, which is fine. Everything else was ok. Linens (sheets and towels) were not soft. Larger fridge in room was nice. Faucet was leaking so we had to put up with dripping all night long. The bathroom was very small and felt like you were touching the toilet while trying to stand at the sink.

Upon arrival into our suite we noticed a rotting smell and as we got closer into the kitchen and opened the cupboard the smell was unbearable. There was rotting chicken and who knows what other food was in there. when we arrived around 8:30 PM maintenance was gone, but they also had a few days off due to the holiday season, which understandable. So I had to go to the front desk and ask for a few garbage bags, while moving the garbage there were fruit flies that came out as well as maggots all over the rotting meat that was in there, so who knows how long was in it. I had to clean out the bin as the meat juices were soaking the bottom of the bin. Also, after getting settled in a little bit, in one of the ice bins there were a bunch of used tissues, floss and other forms of garbage in it. After bringing the garbage to the front desk and letting them know housekeeping, once they came back, was always prompt getting to our suite for the remainder of our stay.

Christmas Trip

Sooo, the location was great. However, the bathroom needed some attention. The towel hook was loose & the shower head needs to be changed - it was loose & spraying water from the wall. The pressure was too high & we couldn't turn it to change the settings. I also recommend switching up the breakfast menu at least every other day (i.e. oiled eggs, fresh fruit, etc.) On a brighter note the staff (front desk, housekeeping, & cleaning/maintenance crew) was VERY pleasant and friendly.

The staff is amazing, on the front desk Ms. Allison is super. She make sure that everything is great for you. Breakfast is kind of weak, but the person taking care of the Breakfast is awesome. I recommend this hotel to anyone. Price is right also. Great hotel for the price.

I took a picture of a dirty washrag I had used to clean up a small water spill from opening my water bottle. When I brought it to the front desk, it was so disgusting that the front desk girl did not want to touch it. The manager refused to give a refund, even though I checked out a day early and had bought the insurance, don’t go to this place.

I took a picture of a washrag I used to wipe a 1 square foot section of the floor just outside my bed because I had spilt a little water when opening a water bottle. I was shocked to see the filth on it, and when I gave it to the front desk girl, she didn’t even want to touch it. I don’t see a way to upload that picture here. The manager added insult to injury when he refused Expedia’s request for a refund when I checked out 1 day early, even though I had bought the insurance. Incredible that Expedia has no power here. What is the insurance worth when it is up to the whims of the hotel whether they give a refund or not? Pissed.
