Spectacular views

Amazing property! The views are spectacular from just about anywhere on the resort grounds. Staff was very pleasant and attentive. The breakfast included with our stay was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back!

A perfect time!

This is our second time at Heritage House and we are so happy we came back. This time, we came back with friends. We got an upgrade and loved the rooms (La Maison). Everything was clean and thoughtfully done.

the property is in disrepair, bad outside lighting and the buffet breakfast was terrible , nothing better than a motel chain breakfast!! There was a dog in the restaurant which is a health code violation!! So sad that the cost is far too high for the current status of the property!

Fabulous room and grounds..food needed some help.

Room and grounds were fabulous. Our only complaint was that the breakfast could have been better. Items were not replenished on the breakfast buffet and the quality was lacking.

Back in Mendocino after 26 years. Lovely stay over Christmas. Very dog friendly which was great for our Welsh Corgi. These points could make it even better--more than two outlets in the room and more light in the dinningroom. We actually had to bring out a flashlight to read the menu and see what was on our plate. Delicious dinner.

The hotel offered exactly what I was looking for - a blissful retreat to recharge my batteries. All members of staff were most courteous and welcoming. The bed, pillows and linens were comfortable and good quality. The only less than 100% review is that the hotel showed wear and tear. The front door could do with a coat of paint around the door handle, one of the sliding bathroom doors was missing a handle, one of the lower walls in the dining area to the left needed attention. Did any of this detract from my stay? Absolutely not. Would I return? In a heartbeat!

Gorgeous property with relaxing ocean views. Stunning trails and access to ocean. Dinner was amazing but we wished snacks and bar were open throughout the day, since check in was so late (4pm). Relaxing getaway!!

Overall, good experience and would come back. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and has more coastline than any other hotel in Mendocino as far as I know. Multiple lookout points on bluffs and semi private access to a rocky beach. The room was clean and comfortable with vaulted ceilings, a large bathroom with heated floors. The property itself is so nice that it deserves a higher level of service and amenities. Dinner menu was small and not impressive so we chose to eat elsewhere. Breakfast buffet was okay but nothing special. Very dog friendly hotel which was great. Overall 8/10.
