The Manistee hotel was unclean, unprofessional, and felt unsafe. I was not able to check in until 4 hours after my check in time after driving 10 hours. When I contacted hotels.com for help, they were not of any assistance. Overall what was supposed to be a good weekend getaway was quickly turned into a nightmare.

Great value, nice clean rooms, friendly staff

This is my 3rd time staying at this Hotel and each time has been a great experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The fridge was not working and they fixed it right away. Jessica was wonderful too! The price, the overall value is great. The breakfast could have some more options is all I would say for improvement. But overall we are very happy with our 4 day stay and will definitely be back.

The room was clean, staff very friendly. The hot tub did not look clean, there was a film on the surface of the water. The breakfast was limited, no fruit, or yogurt.

You can never make a silk purse out of a sow's ear

The room towels are thin, scratchy. There is no comfortable seating chair in the room. The hotel has been under remodeling for over a year. The breakfast was poor at best, kitchen staff did not keep food fresh and on the second day there was no breakfast meet. The prices are set by Hotels.com. I paid $80 on a weekday and $170 dollars for the exact same room Friday. with no change in quality.

Front desk agent was friendly and helpful. When we arrived our room was not ready but she found one that was. Under renovations but we were not impacted by that. Some upgrades are completed like floor covering throughout. Electric outlets were not functioning in all locations. Room A/C worked well, though the fan was loud. Walls are thin - next door guests could be heard. Bring some ear plugs.

The property or the area surrounding it was not pristine but it served its purpose for a 12 hour overnight stay. It was in a very convenient location. Needed some repairs and simple maintenance. That said, the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Wouldn’t be my first choice for a several day stay but it met our needs for this trip.

So when I got there there was a $100 fee in case anything was destroyed etc. 1st morning I go to the bathroom and the toilet almost overflowed. I called from my phone because I was like there is no phone in here. And was put on hold for 20 mins and decided to walk down while on hold. Had to stand in line for 3 people. Told them I needed a plunger so my wife when she woke up she could use the facilities. I waited for over an hour for a plunger. Finally I walked out and asked the maids. They gave me one finally. I got a knock on my door an hour later and the gentleman finally brought me one. But for real tho why did it take that long. When we checked in the woman was rude especially when I said that $100 fee should have been mentioned. I will say this I paid $400 and some odd to stay here. There are way cheaper alternatives. Shop around. The hot tub had damage and they flex sealed it to keep it functional. I will shop around next time. Was not worth the money at all. Everyone was rude and the place was ghetto as all get out. I'm not happy at all.
