Pleasant stay

Lovely stay. Staff and service excellent. Very restricted on when we could use the pool due to swimming classes. Hotel had a very nice bar and restaurant area. Breakfast was very nice and a good choice although it finished at 9am. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay again.

Lovely little place. Had a family party so a few of us booked rooms. The party was great, ok food and drinks a little on the pricey side. You had to buy wine etc by the bottle which was a little annoying. The rooms were very nice. However we all had the same issue overnight, rooms were freezing cold. The beds had a thin duvet. The thermostat was turned off and those of us who figured out how turn it on, were met with a loud fan which isn't helpful when trying to sleep. Some of the older guests asked reception for extra duvets and we told none were available. It's the middle of winter. We stayed at another budget hotel over christmas and the experience could not have more difference. I really like this hotel so was disappointed to hear the same review from my family.

When we arrived was lots of travelling family in the bar area drinking with the children running about and using language which was not suitable. When asked the receptionist he said everyone aloud to have fun but I don’t expect to be called names and my kids names from them . After we got our rooom we was not pleased and asked to swapped but the rooms was just in the corridor which the kids was running up and down all night I even phoned reception to complain the kids was knocking on doors , shouting still carried on till the early early hours of the morning and didn’t feel safty. We packed our bags and left a day earlier

Shocking

Horrible. Irish gypsys eveywhere screaming at staff and members if the public. Smoking in the doorway of hotel so all smoke came into reception. Noise and just general dissorder in the hotel. At points i felt unsafe with my 2 young children and would never come back to this hotel.

Avoid

Awful stay here with my family. Hotel freezing throughout the trip. Hotel was very dirty throughout and the room condition was not great. Whole hotel looks very tired. Hardly any sleep on both nights due to behaviour other guests. Staff disinterested. Avoid!

Unacceptable noise levels

Noise levels were completely unacceptable for a family friendly hotel. There was a large group of residents who seemed to have the complete run of the hotel with no thought for other residents. Hotel staff weren’t policing this group at any stage, resulting in an awful experience.
