I love staying at older hotels. I find them charming and full of life and history. While the overall reviews led me to choose to stay at the Alexis Inn and Suites I was incredibly disappointed. I even felt “catfished.” The room and hotel is itself is okay, nothing special but not unbearable. The property and location however, make you want to hire security to ensure your vehicle won’t be broken into or stolen. Very sketchy and frightening for a young woman. If you are staying alone, I highly recommend you find safer accommodations for your stay in Nashville. As for the staff, they seemed annoyed with my presence while checking in and out, even though the interaction was straightforward and brief. Very unwelcoming. There are better places to stay at equally economical prices. This is not a place I would ever stay again.

THIS SHOULD BE EVERYONE'S GO TO PLACE TO STAY!

AMAZING customer service, from check in to check out. Always willing to help with anything. Breakfast was beyond what i was expecting. We're from here in Nashville but live in Wisconsin now i was so excited to have true biscuits and sausage gravy. They had pork sausage and turkey sausage for those who preferred it. Cold cereal, oatmeal (not instant), fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, toast, bagels, accompiemants, make your own waffles, fresh juice, coffee, hot tea, fresh tea and fresh popped popcorn all day in lobby. Rooms are very nice, beds very comfy, clean. Towels big and fluffy.

We were just staying overnight to fly out the next morning, but were quite surprised at their accommodations at such an affordable price. Not only was the location great for frequent flyers, but the hotel itself was very clean, quiet, & the staff were very polite & nice. The suite was great giving it a homelike feel. We will be staying here more often when we come to Nashville.

Nice hotel and decent free breakfast. Street for entering and exiting hotel very busy. Very difficult to get to where i neered to go or re-enter hotel ground. Would not stay again. Need a traffic light!

Very good, will come back again.

The only complaint is that the beds were high for our ladies to get up on. A step stool would have helped. Once we got in them they were very comfortable.

I booked through Expedia came to property immediately discriminated against walking through the door (non-racial), however I was told she was in the middle of an audit and I’ll need to wait 30 min or so I waited and instead of going in i had called her it was 26 to degrees with my two children and we’re homeless due to a dmv situation so, I asked was it over she said yes what’s my name so on so on I then go inside and presented my id and she said I had to be 21 I showed her that it’s policy states that you have to be 18 called Expedia and in turn the lady was rude and cussing the Expedia customer representative out and refused my refund called next morning manager of the hotel says she apologize and aware of last night and gave me my full refund and the lady was new and didn’t know but either or due to yall negligence miss guiding and under training me and my children had to sleep in a the car in 26 degree weather I door dashed all day to have a warm place just to still stay in the freezing cold and still don’t have my refund smh

Our trip to Nashville was extended by four days, but we decided to leave this hotel as it turned into a nightmare. The internet barely worked during our original four-day stay, despite multiple complaints from us and other guests to the front desk. We were met with unhelpful responses and excuses, with the staff always claiming that the maintenance man was working on it and it would be fixed in about an hour. One woman at the front desk seem irritated when we asked her for a roll of toilet paper & claimed she didn't know where to find any. I explained we needed it and she scoffed & walk off & brought some back & tossed it at me. The maid was rude when we asked for fresh towels and for our trash to be taken out. Our one-bedroom suite had issues with the heat in the bedroom and no ventilation in the living room area. However, the worst part of our stay was on our last night when a man was seen screaming and hitting his female companion in the hallway. It took more than 45 minutes for both the front desk and police to respond, & they did not check on the woman or ask the man to leave. This incident made us realize that this hotel was not a safe or pleasant place to stay. Despite the room being clean and the beds comfortable, the behavior of some of the staff members and the disturbing incident on our last night made it a memorable stay for all the wrong reasons. We were relieved to finally leave this hotel behind and continue our trip without any further unpleasant experiences.
