Great location. Big comfy bed. But hotel is very tired, bathrooms are awful. Staff not helpful or friendly. Breakfast was absolute chaos. You check in online but still had to queue for 20 minutes to get room key.

Hotel has vary good location, near High Street Kensington station. Stuff is children frendly and we had a great time there. Soundproof isloation is not so good, so if we heared other people, other people probably heard us.

Having stayed here before we rebooked for our overnight - The check in process took far too long - I had a message to see when I'd planned to arrive - once in the hotel I was confronted with a queue of 8 people.... i noticed there was a person behind the many check in desks appeared to do nothing to shrink this queue.... the hotel needs so work to bring it to the standard they are claiming to be.

A good base for a short break
Room was comfortable and good standard of cleanliness. Staff were friendly and check-in went smoothly. Breakfast room was busy but fair level of choice. Reasonable value as a base for a two night stay, would use again.

Well situated, poor quality food.
Hotel was really convenient for tube and Royal Albert Hall and nearby attractions. Room was very good and well equipped. Staff were very helpful and treated us well. Unfortunately the cost of the food was unreasonably high and of poor quality. We were very disappointed. Lets down what was potentially a great hotel.

Good location. Only annoying thing is that everytime I stay here they put something different in the room. One time we got water bottles, the next we got no water. Another time we got bathrobes and slippers and the other time we didn't.

Looked fabulous from the outside. In need of refurbishment in the rooms. Bedroom was spacious but our double bed was two singles pushed together whilst the bed(s) were large the mattress was not the best. Prefer a shower than a bath with shower but the towels were big and fluffy. We didn’t use any facilities in the hotel. Stayed for two nights and on Saturday morning has an email to ask when we were checking out on Sunday which made me feel pressure I just ignored it. Location great if you just want Kensington and near a tube station. For what I wanted to do in London for ease I wish I had stayed near a more main line tube station.

This is the time where I should have read the reviews instead of relying on the photos. The hotel is in a prime location of Kensington. The hotel lobby and staff was nice but when you walk in the room, completely different story! The hotel room needs a renovation (paint, update the carpet/tile, get new pictures for rooms, bathroom needs ventilation). The bathroom was disgusting. I had to get cleaning supplies because it was disgusting. The towel warmer was not working. No ventilations in the bathroom. I got disposable bedding to be on the safe side. It's right by a train station so you hear the trains all through the night (not good if you are a light sleeper). I had to leave early because I couldn't stay another night.
