I’ve stayed here many times and never had an issue. This time was truly disappointing. We were supposed to have a 1pm check in. We arrived after 3 and no room was ready. After a 20 minute wait a room became available. It was in the back of the hotel. The room smelled awful and there was a huge stain on the couch and wall. We were too exhausted to complain. The room was old and worn down. Water pressure was awful. We made the best of our two nights, but I would be hesitant to book again unless I knew exactly which room I would be in. The wifi barely worked as we were so far back. It was truly disappointing as someone who stays only here in Plattsburgh. There were no towels in the pool area. We found a massive hairball in the pool and that was the last string, so to speak. I really hope they go back to the standard we are used to.

Good hotel but a bit too expensive

Very good hotel, clean (althouh there was a spider in the bathroom sink at our arrival), but very expensive. Everything else qas booked and had no choice but otherwise would not pay 400CAD/night. Excellent breakfast!

The hotel room was not clean. The pool is very small and the hot tub was broken. The area around the pool have very little seating and was dirty. Nobody assisted in this area and guests were allowed to be very rude and unsafe for children in the area. Staff were not very helpful at all and one was very rude.

Hotel had a huge pool and lovely outdoor patio

We requested a handicapped room. When we arrived it smelled like a smoker had been in it. We requested a new room, which we were promptly given and enjoyed the rest of the stay. Recommendation: do not request the handicapped room or call ahead and ask if it had been aired out.

I was charged twice. I purchased the room on Expedia and I was charged on site at the property. I’ve attempted numerous times to get the charged reversed. Been told it will be taken care of. They still have not fixed it. Incompetent staff. Rip off.
