Off the beaten path and quiet! If you are looking for Peace and Relaxation nestled in nature then you will not be disappointed. On a dead end road, my home offers a semi private setting (only one close neighbor, he is awesome and keeps to himself) on 1.8 acres and 250 feet of shoreline(access to all depends on water level), a breathtaking lakefront view, short walk down to water(75 feet) to enjoy our “Beach" area that has been cleared for swimming, fishing, room to anchor your boat, use our Lilly pad or kayaks in our EXTREMELY quiet long cove. Queen bed in main bedroom, two full size in loft (separate bedrooms) and a sleeper sofa in living. Enjoy the wrap around deck that has you flying with the birds, fire in the Fire pit, relax with our comfortable patio furniture and grill out. A neighborhood boat ramp is at the end of the road 1/4 mile from home. Parking available for your boat or lake toys. Last mile is maintained gravel but our sloped drive is blacktop.

Prairie Creek Marina & Lost Bridge Marina offers boat rentals, bait and a boat ramp. They are 30 and 20 minutes away from my cabin.

Rogers is the closest town that offers anything you need, 20-25 min drive due to slow/curvy roads.

Note: We have well water, it is drinkable but I don’t. Please bring enough drinking/coffee water if you don’t want to drink it. Oct 12th, 2021 - we had the system flushed and upgraded our HP well water filtration system and the water condition is greatly improved and no smell now.

FREE 💥👊🏽 We have three kayaks, Lilly Pad & a paddle board with paddles & life vests for your use. Cove & nearby coves very quiet with low population & no fast boats.

We are dog friendly but dog must be approved and a fee involved for extra cleaning/disinfecting. If approved, dog is not allowed on any furniture, blankets or bedding. If your dog accidentally does, please clean it all up before leaving. I have a vacuum, washer/dryer and all cleaning supplies there.

Please communicate accurate amount of people staying at the cabin as that determines our cleaning time. I do charge $15 extra each night for every person over 4 because of this reason. I do this to keep nightly rate lower for the couples that come alone.

April 12th, 2021 - We added blacktop to our entire driveway so it’s easy to park anywhere & maneuver a boat or trailer.

Feb 2022 - We added hand railing to the steepest part of the path down to water. NOTE: We could not put it past the core of engineers property to the water.

Great Cabin in the Woods
We enjoyed our long weekend in the woods. The cabin is the perfect distance from Rogers, which is a very cool town (we had no idea). Enjoyed several of the local restaurants, hiking at Hobbs State Park, and art exhibits at Crystal Bridges. If you're going to explore the area and want a nice wooded, quiet place to rest and relax, this is a great place for it.

Peaceful stay
We throughly enjoyed the peaceful quiet visit. Everything was just as described and we couldnt of asked for anything more. Home was way off the road (secluded just like we wanted) but directions were perfect and we had no problem finding our way. Wonderful porch for relaxing way up in the trees, just like a treehouse experience. Definitely recommend and will look to stay again in the future!

Fun and Beauty
We chose this house due to it being on the water and having water toys available for use. The house was perfect for my husband and I. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedroom was small but comfy, and the large deck was perfect! We spent a lot of time down on the water. That being said, it was NOT an easy trek back up to the house. We made sure to take everything we needed down at once so as to limit our trips back up to the house. The water level was low so we had more "beach" area than typical. We loved kayaking, hanging out on the lily pad and reading by the water. The water was so clear we should have brought snorkeling equipment. We never got used to the smell of the water in the house, very pungent to say the least. So glad we were told to bring our own water. The dog run was a definite plus. We left our dog in the run on the day we rented a boat. We knew he was safe and secure and would have things to see instead of being couped up in the house. Most of the run is always in shade so there was no worry of him overheating. We would stay here again!

This was our second visit to this property. It has been excellent both times. Beave lake is very nice and this area of the lake has very little traffic so the complementary kayaks are a huge plus for us.

Great Lake Stay
Property is as described. We had only adults. I would not recommend kids, the path down to the water is too treacherous. the floating lilly pad was the best for just hanging out on. the sulfur water smell was a bit more pungent than we were expecting. But the property was as described and we had a good time.

Wonderful!
We are a family of four plus our fur baby! This was a wonderful place. The cove was absolutely beautiful and quiet. It was so nice to walk right to the water without having people around. The kids caught catfish, swam, kayaked and the dog loved the paddle board! Plus, the cabin has everything you need and an amazing wrap around deck in the trees. The host was extremely kind and quick to respond. We hope to be back next year!! Definitely recommend this place!

Perfect Getaway
This was our second time at this lake house. We took two kids the first time, and this time just a couples getaway with the dogs. The lake access and kayaking is absolutely amazing. We love the house and how easygoing the owner seems to be. We’ve never figured out how to use the TV at this house because the views and lake are so breathtaking. Can’t wait to come back next year.

Much Needed Getaway
This was my first time using any vacation home rental. We had no trouble finding the cabin following the directions we had been given. We did have trouble gaining access to the key but Erin responded to my text immediately and explained how to use the lock box. Cabin is cute and has a cozy feel. It had everything we needed and then some. We spent most of our time relaxing on the deck. The walk to the water is a little steeper than we thought from the pictures. Going down was fairly easy; coming back up required a couple of stops along the way but that's because my husband has scoliosis and asthma. It didn't stop him from going fishing every morning. One morning we saw a deer in the woods next to the cabin. On our last night there, I heard a rustling sound towards the lake and when we looked we saw six deer walking across the yard! My only negative is that the chest of drawers in the downstairs bedroom was full of linens so we had to leave our suitcase on the floor with our clothes in it. Inconvenient but not a deal breaker. This is a great cabin on the lake. Thank you Erin for sharing your home with us!

Best little family getaway!
This is such a beautiful house. My husband, son and I were so relaxed being there. My son is 17 going on 35 and even he was relaxed and really enjoyed it. Anyone with teenages knows how that can be a BIG change. We loved the stay and going down to finsh and swimming. There is lots of other things to do around there as well, with just a short drive. We will definitely be back and would HIGHLY recommend this house. You're really missing out if you dont stay here.

Perfect weekend getaway!
My boyfriend & I stayed here for a weekend getaway. We went to Eureka Springs about 45 min away then came home to a beautiful A-frame cabin. We fell in love with his place! We spent an entire day on the water with the kayaks Erin provided (it was a workout going up from the water but that may just be because i’m pregnant LOL) but the lake was so beautiful and peaceful. We loved the home feeling this place provided. Erin was so helpful & responsive when we had questions! I definitely recommend this home to anyone looking. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed the seclusion of the house with the access to the lake. We enjoyed mountain biking, museums, and trails in the area. We had the biggest burritos at Mr. Burrito, don't let the gas station fool you. The house was cozy, clean and accommodating. We can only hope the weather will be a little warmer for our next stay.

Weather did not cooperate
The weather didn’t cooperate and there was nothing the host could do about that, of course. The view was amazing and the lake so tempting. I rented this cabin mostly because of the water toys which seemed amazing but with it being in the 20s & 30s we didn’t go out. My daughter did jump in for a few seconds & then immediately took a warm shower. It was quite a bit disappointing. When we arrived, the cabin was absolutely freezing, and it took us a little bit to figure out how to use the heater. Once we did the heater worked great, but roasted the kids upstairs while the adults froze downstairs especially at night. I wouldn’t recommend this cabin with weather under 40°. There was also a little bit of a weird smell, which I assume is the well water.
