Hotel has a big potential to become a nice hotel but workers make things worse. People are not friendly, maintenance is not well maintained, bathroom not so clean, no towels, needed to go to front desk to grab some.. fridge was dirty..

The front desk clerk was very helpful and check-in was easy. The location of the place is not great, but not that bad either and easy to get to downtown Savannah. The room had a very strong smell of smoke, the fan in the bathroom is very loud and things are kind of beat up. The bed is comfortable and it does the job for one night. The smoky smell is pretty bad.

The Tv remote didn’t work cause it was broken and taped poorly on the back. I called the receptionist and she said come down and get one. We went downstairs and got one but it didn’t work at all. Cause it’s not programmed to the tv. I called her back twice but the phone just rang and rang. Then all night the fridge was shaky and making noise… we were just too tired to get up and change to another hotel cause of a long trip. The coffee cup was stuck too the surface. I don’t know what causes it… the lotion in the bathroom is half used. We never been to a hotel like this in US. We are world travelers.. trying not to complain at any situation but we pay for comfortable stay to travel further. My mom who is 75 didn’t get any rest. I should’ve went to another hotel if I was not too tired of my long trip. I hope the hotel give some money back cause of lack of quality service. But give credit to the cafeteria and maintenance ladies who were polite.

Staff were very nice. Location is not terrible at all. Shower had zero water pressure, like ZERO Windows in room were filthy..literally SUPER thin walls. Hello neighbors. I hear your entire argument & then your make up session. I brought my black light with...i made an awful choice to use it. This hotel has SO MUCH POTENTIAL Give me $20000 & ill have it looking spectacular. Breakfast area really cute actually

Beware not what it looks like online
On arrival we had made it in later in the evening we had gotten our keys and once handed to us the clerk takes them back and hands them to the couple behind us. We then get our keys for our room and it’s not even the bed size requested so came back down got another set of keys walk into that room and it had just been painted earlier and smelled like paint and mold so asked to be moved because of my service animal and having migraines and they lady had attitude about it and put us in another room which was a tad bit better but not by much. The next day I was questioned about my service animal and made a big deal about it and was going to charge me for him and make us move into another room. The hotel needs to work on customer service and being updated about service animals and the laws about them. I know they are trying to do better on upgrades, but please make staff aware not to put people in newly painted rooms.
