Convenient location, liked having an actual key rather than a card. Room was comfortable but is in need of update. Carpet was cigarette burned and stained but over-all in good condition for an older motel. We woukd stay there again for sure.

Staff was friendly and professional. Room was very clean and quiet, more than I expected for the price. When I am back in this area to visit my daughter who attends PSU, I'll stay here.

The best bang for your buck!

Nittany Budget Inn has a price that fits my budget. 9-night stay. This place was home while my kids participated at the Penn State Sports Camps. Dogs are also allowed. 2 maximum, no size limit. The mattresses are new and high quality! The AC unit in Room 101 really cranks out the cold, especially during the hot and humid days during our stay. The front office staff and housekeeping staff are so friendly! The small breakfast provided using the pass through cubby is GENIUS! Plenty of space to walk your dogs. Even they enjoyed themselves! This property is CLEAN! Please be a thoughtful guest and don’t trash this place. And if you need a beer…the front office area has several fridges of beer…it’s almost like the walk-in beer fridge at SHEETZ (just down the road) but more convenient!!!
