I had to change my room three times and one time it was the shower is not working the second time the room was nasty and dirty with the nasty sandwich and moldy and my kids find pills on the floor Them my little one almost eat it I went to the reception and explained to them and took pictures. They change to another room in total. I change 3 times rooms.

The hotel was fine, the property location was perfect because it was very close to everything!. The one big problem was the hotel service!!!! Apparently my door lock run out of battery and they NEVER change it on 2 of 3 days that I stayed there. I was able to get into the room because my family stayed in the room next door and they had a communication between them, and we needed always to wait for everyone to get inside the room…

This hotel casino "resort" was a complete letdown! The cleanliness of the hotel was lacking, and there was virtually no service. The only bright spot was the bellman, who was decent and helpful. However, that was the extent of the service we received. During our three-night stay, we requested housekeeping multiple times but were completely ignored. When we asked for fresh towels, we faced the same disregard. The front desk seemed confused and unable to answer any questions or offer solutions. The dining options were disappointing as well; the Mexican grill was unappetizing, dirty, and understaffed. We won’t be returning!

The worst hotel Experience ever! The check in process took so long and didn’t even have our rooms ready. They put us in Basic rooms when I paid for a premium rooms. There was no maid service even after requesting it. Could never reach the front desk or concierge for help.

Pros Indoor swimming Good walking distance to other casinos, shopping, heavenly, it had a gym, small game area for kids, and you can pay 10 dollars a day to play other games. Cons Very limited staffing They dont clean your room unless requested Very limited on food options No 24 hour cafe Response time for room repairs was slow You can hear the pipes We had a leak in our suite The toilet clogged easily Broken handles on the door Floors were scratched The hotel needs a lot of updates and repairs.

My stay was just a disaster. Somehow booking I only paid for one night. Booked a pricey room but no view. Got charged fees Expedia said was covered. Could not get a drink if my life depended on it. There’s no working telephone between Expedia and Ballys. The front desk… it was just miserable.

I get that you get what you pay for, but at least vacuum the room! There was coco puffs in our room from the previous guests.we didn't notice until the morning since we arrived late. The entire 4th floor smelled gross, like popcorn butter, which I am sure was not why there was that smell. The room had a loud intermittent knocking sound coming through the walls. It may have been the water running from another room as our room did thr same with the shower on. I tried to call the front desk, but the phone was not functional. I had to call from my personal phone to go through the prompts to talk to someone. They replaced the phone, they could not figure out what caused the noise. The next morning the power went out in half of our room. Too many issues for 1 night stay. Next time I would rather spend double at another hotel to avoid these issues if that is possible. It just happen to be at a convenient location. Hopefully they raise their standards on cleanliness and service.

Couldn’t check in until 4:00 on the dot and the line was 50 people deep with only 3 people working. First night requested a new hair dryer bc the one in the room wasn’t working. Didn’t ever get it. Second day, no hot water in morning or evening, received no housekeeping service, requested clean towels in the evening and didn’t receive them. Hair all over the bathroom floor. Unfortunately we will not stay there again.

This place is an emblem of capitalism in decline. What was once a 4-star hotel has degraded into a shadow of its former self. You can tell they use a staff comprised of mostly South American college students who come to Tahoe on some kind of program and are thrown in as indentured servants there. They are all young and hiding in the back as customers scream about various problems with the room. My room wasn't until 3 hours after I showed up at 6:30pm. Check in is at 4. Good thing I speak Spanish...because it helped front desk understand.They confused numbers. They also gave us a room with a protruding metal bars on the bottom of the box spring of one of the double beds so we had to move a coffee table and a luggage rack to remind ourselves and or kids to not step there or else cut foot on rusty metal bar. There was some kind of hole in the door of the bathroom at eye level with toilet that was jammed in there. A peephole? The tub was big but had crusts in it when I fill it up that I had to scoop out. They didn't give us enough towels for 4 people for 2 days. Also toilet paper allotment was stingy. And - front desk didn't have enough staff so nobody answered my calls. Girls at front desk ran in back and hid during check in from an irate man who said he and his family were placed next to a room with at least 3 barking dogs. His child was allergic. They tried to charge me $40 for an extra parking. Steakhouse closed. 3-day-old trash outside. Spa full. Arcade stole money. Dirty.
