Super convenient location: 15min walk to the River run gondola / lift area, 10min walk to the main strip with dining and shopping. The free city shuttle also stops right at the corner in front of the lodge. No elevator though, so keep in mind if you have mobility concerns. The facilities were well maintained. Not the best sound proofing but it was mostly quiet in the building and not much traffic outside. Good heating, strong water pressure in the shower. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast spread offered good options - both healthy and indulgent.

They need an elevator!

We had several heavy suitcases and this hotel has no elevators and our room was on the second floor. We wouldn’t stay here again due to the lack of an elevator. Their free breakfast is exceptional though!

I thought that being walking distance to the ski mountain that the hotel would be nicer. The lobby was actually very beautiful but the rooms are dark and dreary. There was a nice spot to sit outside with Adirondack chairs, but they were covered in bird crap. The pool had a lot of stuff floating in it. There is no elevator to the 2nd floor, although the very nice man at the desk offered to carry my bags up. My bed sheet had a big hole in it which had to have been noticed by whoever made the bed. I did ask for a new one and they brought it right away. Also I was happy to have daily housekeeping service, which most hotels don’t bother with anymore. So the staff was good but the facilities not so much. I wouldn’t stay here again.

This property was at the base of Bald Mountain and the scenery was spectacular. The staff was extremely friendly, courteous, and eager to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!!
