White Oak Lodge (72 White Oak Road, Swanton) on 6 makuuhuonetta, 3 kylpy järven pääsy hirsitalon lähellä tärkeimpiä osa järven, johon mahtuu 12 henkilöä. Siinä on oma laituri mahtuu 2 venettä ja syvän veden uima pois lopussa telakka. Se sijaitsee suojaisalla metsäinen paljon ei suoraan järven, mutta lyhyen kävelymatkan tiellä ja alas portaita vie telakka. Alemmalla tasolla on 2 makuuhuonetta (kuningas ja kuningatar), takkahuone puuhella, sauna ja kylpytynnyri kuulu kuisti. Tärkein taso koostuu suuri olohuone, ruokailuhuone, keittiö, sauna, ja katettu kuisti. On 4 makuuhuonetta (Queen, Queen, 2 kaksoset, ja kaksinkertainen) ylemmällä tasolla. Ulkona on levähdysalue, jossa kaasugrilli, hiiligrilli ja palo kuoppaan. Se on lähellä Deep Creek State Park.

Perfect for our group
The property worked very well for our extended family vacation. Plenty of bedrooms provided privacy when needed. The 3 bathrooms were appreciated with 10 people! The back deck was wonderful for coffee in the mornings and drinks in the evening. Not to mention a great place to read during the afternoon! The large dining room afforded us wonderful family time for dinners together. The hot tub got a lot of use, and was a big hit. The dock was great for swimming, and kayaking, and really appreciated when we rented a boat for the day! Note, bring your own kitchen towels! We were left one, which obviously wasn’t enough. Other than that small thing, the hosts were on point with any questions we had, both before and during our stay. All in all, a great place to stay. We will definitely be back.

Sons groomsmen
Had a small gathering of my sons groomsmen before his wedding in November. Nice house, exactly what we wanted. Hot tub worked great. Fire pit was a hit to sit by and relax. House was clean and everything worked. Owners are awesome to communicate with and answer quickly. Definitely would recommend

Family vacation
Enough room for our large family. Furniture is old. Only children could sit on large couch because you sink almost to the floor. A frying pan of used oil was in the oven. Gas grill's bottom missing and only two burners worked. Two jets didn't work in hot tub. Air conditioning is window units and not every room had an air conditioner. It was very hot. Overall, needs updated.

Perfect stay
This was a great stay in a very clean, nice and comfortable house. The listing was correct on all points, and communication with the owner was timely and very friendly. Location is great - 10 minutes from the touristy spots but far enough to not have crowds of people walking by. I would recommend this house and the owners any time. Thank you

Web site needs a quick fix
The house was nice but in places the web site says a king, 3 queens and 4 twins which is accurate. Elsewhere on the site it says a king 4 queens and 2 twins. In a 3 generation family like ours with multiple widowed and unmarried adults of different sexes knowing how many separate beds are available is important. It should be an easy fix. The house and property are lovely.

Cozy - but confusing
The house was so warm and cozy to stay in. A lot of the signage is a bit outdated and all say different things - specifically in regards to check out. We did use the email as it was the "most recent" information we had. The stairs were coated in ice and there was no salt in the home to help us remove it which made getting in and out with infants (a 7mo and 2yr) a little scary. The upstairs bathroom had some mold on the drywall above which set off a lot of our allergies. The hot tub was also VERY foamy, which made it pretty unbearable after about 10 minutes - which was unfortunate as it was definitely a feature that made us pick this home. However, the TV was nice, the kitchen was clean and very usable, even for 2-3 adults cooking/hanging out at once. The long dining table was perfect for having meals together and playing board games. The park pass was a nice addition and we did hike around the water falls. the multiple floors made it easy to be together when we wanted and separate when we needed. The large number of sizable bedrooms also made it easy for 3 small families (6 adults 2 babies) to have a cozy and fun weekend together.

Family vacation
The property was as expected, slightly older , but great with kids. The owners were very responsive to our needs. The deck porch was wonderful for coffee in the mornings and drinks in the evening. Beds were comfortable for all of us. Take paper products! One garbage bag plus the one in the can was no where near enough! We used at least 8 for a group of 10. Also, you will want to bring additional toilet paper and paper towel. Honestly, the knives sucked. Even after using the several honing stones, nothing was acceptable. I suggest you bring your own. On the other hand, the pots and pans were first rate! We also ended up buying a few dishtowels and dish clothes, as they only provide one of each. The dryer was pretty much MIA, but the owner did acknowledge he was aware of the situation, and was looking to replace it. The dock was within easy walking distance,and we could leave our kayaks there, which was a plus. Also, the kids were perfectly happy to swim from the docks! The fire pit was really nice, though we did have an issue with several of the chairs collapsing, due to the age and condition of the wood. The property was wonderful as far as location, quite close to the main thoroughfare, the park, and other attractions. The hot tub was very enjoyable! All in all, this was an excellent property for the price, and we would definitely book again. Also, plenty of parking, a big plus.

Very great space and had a great time. Only issue we had was the first night, we lost water and didn’t have any until Saturday. John and maintenance were extremely helpful and came right away to fix the problem. This is a super cool property and would recommend to others for sure. Thanks again John and Kathy!

Weekend get away
We all loved the house! It was perfect for 11 of us ladies. The table in the dining room was nice for us all to sit around for breakfast and playing games in the evening. Location of the house was close to restaurants and shopping ! We even had 4 deer come into the back yard which was sweet to see ! Would definitely rent this house again !

Plenty of room
There waa plenty of room for our crew to spread out through the house. Bedrooms and living space. It was only a 15 minute drive to Wisp. The owners were responsive when I had a question. The house was clean and affordable for what we were looking for.

Perfectly Adequate, Good Value
Nice little cabin in a quiet area by the lake. Accommodations were exactly as described, everything worked as expected, no surprises at all. Pros: Quiet area, nice hot tub, well-outfitted kitchen, plenty of heat in the rooms, and lots of hot water for bathing. Cons: Hard beds, old furniture, dated decor. Again, no surprises based on previous reviews. Overall, a very good value for the price, and a very pleasant stay!

Family Christmas ‘21
We spent Christmas weekend with our family of 8 (4 parents, 4 young adult children) and had a wonderful time. The house had all we needed in a cozy layout that allow for together time as well as separate spaces to escape to. We took full advantage of all the amenities… hot tub, fire pit, grill, WII video games, board games and neighborhood walks while at the house. And we ventured out to ski at Wisp, ride ATVs, hike Swallow Falls and eat dinner out at Mountain Brewery. Christmas ‘21 was a success and created some great memories. We will definitely be coming back!
