Had to lift back cover of toilet and mess with the “guts” to get the toilet to flush pretty much every time. Then again to get it to stop running. Then it would run on and off all night long. Reported this to the manager the first morning and never got fixed. Refrigerator was quite loud when it cycled I at first which was annoying as we slept. Toilet paper dispenser not even attached to the wall and fell out every time it was used. This hotel is in desperate need of renovation. Spoke to the manager upon check out again about the toilet and she was very apologetic and credited me back one night to compensate. She was very nice and obviously understaffed.

Need to fix/update shower fixtures, took awhile to figure out even w the stupid stucker above it and no water pressure. Shower head seems to be extremely calcified. Was told it may be an hour for my room to be ready when it was almost 6pm!? (They did fix that) had no warning that a large group of teens were staying as well, wish hotels.com would disclose this. Wanted some quiet time but all i heard was those kids most of night going up and down hall cause i was near a vending machine i guess? But at least this redroof didnt smell like garbage like the one in Poughkeepsie did so that was good

Hotel could use an update, but in general is a good place for sleep. Staff was busy and did a lot of vacuum afound 4-5pm that was an issue for me that was trying to get some zzz after a long trip, but aside this, it is a good place.

Oct. 13, 2024 Red Roof Inn @ Clifton Park, NY Pluses- -Convenient quiet location, working refrig and micro in room, full tv cable, adjustable heating unit in room. separate table in room. toilet worked Cons-- some leakage around the sink faucet. unlock entrance card- not reliable when, inserted into room door. there were delays entering I would stay at this Inn, again if I needed to.

Loud dogs in room over us. Spiders and webs in room. Odors. I asked for a vacuum to remove the spiders and dirt in the room. I cleaned the room myself.

Ok for overnight stay, room clean and comfortable. The dogs upstairs were noisy all night, carpark lights and gap on bottom of door kept the room lit all night. As a holiday stay a different choice of room might make a difference. Dogs should be on ground floor near exits.
