I was disappointed that there was no daily cleaning. If we wanted it cleaned we needed to call the desk. We had to go to front desk to get extra towels and coffee. Even though we had a non smoking room the smoke from the casino came to our room. On Saturday night they had a Halloween bash. The music was so loud our room shook. If you only are interested in gambling I would say stay there. If you are on vacation do not stay there.

Dreams of a nice getaway only to be disappointing
We made our reservation kinda at the spur of the moment. We gamble at the casino off and on and like it. This first time making the reservation was easy. The part that we are disappointed in was when I checked us in the front desk person ask if we were celebrating anything. I said, my partner's life. He had come come from the last hospital stay about 2 weeks ago. This trip was just to relax and gamble a little. We were supposed to be in a poolside room close to the elevator and a room with a balcony if possible. The clerk was alone and I repeated my request but she was ignoring my comments. She kept watching her line grow and on the phone asking for help. She said very little and when we checked in the room it was extremely small no pool view, wrong tower. The bathroom shower had long hair on the sitting area at least 20 inches long and 6 strands. The room was missing a chair. We ordered room service and eating was hard without the 2nd chair. Then on top of all of this the food was all barely warm, partly cold except the clam chowder was great. So our getaway first time at Viejas hotel turned out to be very disappointing. I hope after reading this you might consider offer us a comp room in the correct tower and make our trip back a positive trip.We've had some major doctor/hospital bills to pay. I diverted money to Viejas for my partner and it was poor at best. We did try to reach front desk to ask about another room, but they phone rang and rang and then stopped ringing.
