Have stayed here previously with my nephews as the hotel has a pool table and some other games as well as a small supermarket so keeps them occupied during wet days. Bar staff and reception team at every helpful and polite, nothing has been too much trouble. I’d recommend a superior room as they have been refurbished, older standard rooms don’t have great views and smell of damp. Rooms also don’t have a fridge or mini bar but there is a kettle and espresso machine. Odd that some of the hotel isn’t in use or for private functions only, lots of wasted space where a gym could be installed or spa

I had money stolen out of my room that was in my suitcase. I did not realize it right away but when I reported it I was told they would investigate it and get back to me. Have not heard back. They can look at electronic lock information and see who was in and out of the room. I will call them again, but disappointed I have heard nothing.

The Eden Hotel is in a great location for sightseeing, shopping and dining. Our room was very large and the beds were comfortable. We had a room for four people which had lots of storage for clothes and suitcases. The decor was a little odd with a book on fetish included in the room and large murals of corsets on the walls. It was also dark. The bathroom had two swinging glass doors with a narrow band of privacy glass in the middle of the doors. They were really not very private and did not shut tightly. The lobby bathrooms had more privacy.

Hotel Eden is a charming hotel, right on the Amstel with canals directly in front & Rembrandt Square to the side. Our room on the 4th floor was quiet and restful, very spacious & well appointed. The design & wallpapers are very artistic, but still very comfortable. All the staff were very helpful and the buffet breakfast is excellent value & very well balanced across the options. We highly recommend Eden Hotel.

Perfect location
We loved our stay at Eden’s Amsterdam! The location was perfect for us- close enough to walk or take the tram anywhere but far enough out of the bustle of the city. Our room was large & clean and had a great view of the canal and Opera house.

The view from our third storey window was of the Amstel canal and looking right towards the Opera/Ballet buildings. Very pretty at night time. The room was fine, but only one mirror above sink which is not odeal for 2 ladies. It misted up when when of us showered. There was adequate hanging space for clothes but no drawers at all. Beds extremely comfy, but pillows were huge humpy things, and the only alternative offered was a neck pillow. Breakfast was good, but the same buffet was offered every day, and the only decaff coffee was in a sachet impossible to open, and away from the jug of cold milk.

Great location and friendly staff. Bed is comfortable , place is quiet. Very walkable, can walk pretty much must tourists attractions within an hour. There are many great all day brunch spots in Amsterdam, but in a pinch, the in house breakfast is decent with some healthy choice. I’d stay here again.
