Amazing views and friendly staff
Stayed at this hotel 7 years ago in autumn. We were on the 2nd or 3rd floor with amazing canal views. Fast forward to 2024 to celebrate our anniversary and birthdays and we had the same great views of Amsterdam’s beautiful rooftops and canals. Very romantic in the fall but equally spectacular in the summer. Definitely a special occasion hotel or an escape from a hectic work life. Thanks to the super friendly staff especially Ryan!

Nice old charming hotel in the heart of Amsterdam
We had a very nice stay at this hotel for a 4-night stay in Amsterdam. The hotel is very centrally located -- on a nice canal and near all the tourist attractions from the Dam Square to the museums. There are a lot of restaurants, bars, stores, etc. in the area. The hotel seems to have been recently renovated -- nice lobby, furnishings, etc. The rooms are small but comfortable. The staff is very friendly and nice. Great coffee machines and snacks in the lobby all day long. Recommend staying at this place.

Hotel Estheréa was an oasis in Amsterdam! The lobby and sitting area was relaxing and had delicious flavored water and coffee available at all times. My room was beautiful and had a view of the canal! The bar was lovely and all the staff were very helpful! The location can’t be beat. There are amazing restaurants and bars just around the corner and the canal area was beautiful to walk around!

This is an outstanding hotel. They do everything perfectly. The environment / ambiance, the room and bathroom amenities are sensational and the staff are efficient, welcoming and professional. The whole place is in wonderful order and they do the little extras like no other. Simply it is a wonderful hotel and our only problem was that we had booked to stay only one night. We must come back again.
