Excellent visit. Only stayed one night but will definitely stay here again. Breakfast at the restaraunt was very good.
Talked with manager Dana about the efforts that Hilton as a corporation and the local management at this location made in supporting their staff , visitors and the people of the surrounding area in the wake of Hurricane Helene. I was so happy to the caring spirit that was exercised in taking care of their workers to make sure they were safe and needs met. How they supported the Duke Energy workers that came in the the aftermath of the storm to restore power in Asheville and the surrounding area. An most importantly, how they supported of the people of the local communities who need a safe place to shelter and recover from the storm.
The staff at the hotel is not trained to handle disaster recovery situations but they did their best to show compassion and support to the people of the area. Kudos to Dana and all of the staff at this Hilton for demonstrating the love and care that everyone needed during this horrible time. Thank you for being there for the community. I will make this location my first choice for any futire visits to this area!
