The staff were very welcoming and nice. We felt comfortable and safe right away. The room was cozy, cute and clean. The hotel was right on the water with beautiful view. There are walkable dining options in the area. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area. We will be back!

The checkin, the location and the service were superb. The only observation (not criticism) concerns the bed. The mattress was very, very soft. Some may like a soft mattress, but we do not. We did not sleep well and woke feeling achy. It may not be a problem for others, but is for us.

Very nice place on the water of the Columbia River. Friendly staff. The sealions were noisy but they did quiet down some late at night. The bed was too hard for me but that is a personal preference.

The view from our room was great, right on the water. Except for the seals it was very quiet. It was located on an old pier and was walking distance to some really good restaurants. The only slightly negative was the parking. We had to park on the street a couple blocks away, not a big deal. They do offer valet parking for $10 per day. Next time we'll probably take advantage of the valet parking. We will definitely come back here again, and will recommend the Bowline to others..

The staff was very welcoming as we entered greeting us with Champagne! Our room was exactly as advertised, very lux, well appointed with a cozy vibe. Love the view, listening to the water against the pier, and soaking in the tub, we will be back!
