Please note: We have restructured Guest Member pricing from per bedroom to per person. Guest Members will not be able to bring guests. Every Guest Member coming through the Club gate and using Club amenities will need to be a registered Guest Member.
The Bald Head Island Club has established appropriate caps for the number of Guest Members for high season and holidays to improve service and eliminate crowding in the pools and dining rooms. We will register approved Guest Member applicants on a first-come/first-served basis. We anticipate that Guest Memberships will reach their holiday and high season weekly cap quickly once we open registration. CANCELATION – Cancelations must be made in writing by email to lobby@bhiclub.net. Please be aware, if you need to cancel your high season Guest Membership for any reason, you may do so up to 30 days prior to arrival and will receive a refund, minus a $50 processing fee. If you cancel between 29 and 15 days prior to arrival, you will receive a 50% refund, minus a $50 processing fee. Refunds are not possible for No-shows and cancelations under two weeks.

Our housekeeping staff has completed the course, "What House Cleaning Professionals Need to Know in a COVID-19 World".
We are following these precautions in the cleaning of our vacation rentals every week:
• We do not reuse cloths or floor mops from one house to another. Each team is given adequate clean cloths each day to clean their assigned homes. These cloths and mop heads are laundered in the hottest water setting available, in line with what the CDC recommends.
• When the team arrives, each team member will wash their hands with soap and water, and don a new pair of disposable nitrile gloves. These will be thrown away once the home is complete. Our team members will wash their hands again just before leaving. Each team member will wear masks, shoe coverings, and safety glasses while inside the home. Shoe coverings will also be discarded at the completion of each home and not used from one house to another.
• Each visit we sanitize doorknobs, light switches, and all other high-touch areas in each room of the home in addition to our regular cleaning procedures.
• We have researched the CDC’s list of acceptable cleaners to use, and are thrilled to report that what we already use to clean our homes are recommended by the CDC.

We also have a security camera that faces the garage door where the golf carts are stored and also one in the doorbell on the front porch that just faces out towards the street they were installed because people would occasionally take the golf carts for joy rides
