Staff friendly ...older motel...bed very uncomfortable. Thought it was closer to downtown. If your a senior citizen it could be a challenge to walk to downtown

The property was in need of some attention. No cable TV and WiFi was spotty at best. When front desk contacted all we got was excuses. However it is a great location. Close to Downtown Bar Harbor. Easy to get to Acadia too

Older facility. Small rooms. Clean. Easy walk to downtown Bar Harbor. Supermarket is close. Very convenient to Acadia. Biggest disadvantage is no continental breakfast.

The location of the property within walking distance to downtown was wonderful and alleviated the need to find parking which is limited downtown. Rooms were a little outdated; however, they were well maintained, clean & comfortable. Suzie and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

Natelle was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! As the 3pm to 11pm front desk associate she was there for me will all questions and needs. She is an asset to the Anchorage Motel.

Very dated and super tiny bathroom. Was impossible for 3 women to get ready. No fan in the small bathroom so everything was always damp. Beds were very wore out. Overoriced for what you get.

We stayed at the Anchorage Motel for a couple of nights while visiting Acadia National Park. The location is ideal for exploring Bar Harbor and the surrounding area, with downtown amenities easily accessed via a short walk. Our room was clean and well-presented, with the main conveniences you'd expect from a motel.

Nice motel at a great location in Bar Harbor
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights as part of a family trip to Acadia. The hotel location is great, at walking distance from the town center. The hotel has all the basic amenities and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Our stay at The Anchorage was very pleasant. We were looking to stay within walking distance of town in a room that was reasonably priced, since we would be out during the days and evenings. The staff was very friendly and directed us toward some good breakfast and dinner restaurants that residents were aware of, and that as tourists, we wouldn't have known about.
