Horrible housekeeping

The room wasn’t cleaned properly and the bedding smelled as if someone who was smoking heavy had laid in the bed I had to ask 5 times for new bedding through phone calls and face to face interactions. I finally had to go downstairs and find someone to just hand me new pillow cases, sheets and comforter all of this after I was told someone would come to the room and change the bedding

The room and property is beautiful also it’s really close to a lot of restaurants and very close to st Joesph’s. I love that all the rooms have a full size fridge and a kitchenette which was a life saver for those who have kids. My only complaint was on the day we checked in as soon as I went into our room I saw that the sheets had dirt all over the comforter so when I told the lady at the front desk about she made it seem like there was nothing she can do when i asked politely about getting clean sheets as I just literally checked in 5 minutes earlier with her and she responded that they don’t have any clean sheets and was kind of no help at all luckily the head of housekeeping Ericka made it all right by giving us clean sheets and she was very helpful and nice to me and my family. I would definitely recommend stay bridge in Benton Harbor.

It seemed clean, but that is the only positive

This was a seriously disappointing stay. I have no idea how this hotel has such a high rating. They were out of everything for our entire stay. At check in: The room was clean but not refilled. There was no shampoo, body wash or conditioner. No hand soap or toilet paper. There were only 2 towels. The pull out bed was advertised as a queen and it was a single. There were no pillows, blankets or linens for the pull out bed. I called the front desk to ask for these items and they said they would bring some by. 5 hours later we had to go to the desk and get them ourselves. Then the front desk representative was arguing with us about how many linens we needed. Breakfast every day was a disaster. They were out of milk, coffee creamer, regular sized plates, and forks. The food was not refilled and we were just told they were out. Some of the employees were very nice, others were not. I feel bad for those employees who are trying because clearly they are understaffed and this hotel is suffering from terrible management. There are plenty of other hotels in this area. I would recommend staying elsewhere and I would not consider being a return guest .

The room was clean however bathroom amenities were not provided. The soap and shampoo dispensers were empty. Had to ask 3 times for some to be provided, the 3rd time asking we had to find a maintenance man to get someone to the front desk because it was unattended. Stayed 3 nights and no housekeeping. For the cost of the room and what was provided it was extremely overpriced. Based on other hotels in the area I wouldn’t recommend this one.
