We were visiting over Thanksgiving. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was very clean. The location is perfect for access to DC/Rockville restaurants. Will stay again!

The “accessible” bathroom in our room wasn’t all that accessible- slippery bath tub, no anti slip mat, very tall shower head without flexibility or hand held head. The staff member was nice enough to find another room where shower head a hand held, and there were rails to hold on to in the bath tub. Still no anti slip mat. We had to go out and to buy one. I needed a refrigerator in the room because I am a diabetic and need to keep my medication in the refrigerator. A tiny unit which is not cooling at all is sitting in a totally closed cabinet which is not ventilated at all and gets very hot inside. Microwave is on a top of refrigerator in the same cabinet. One needs to sit or kneel on the floor to be able to see and operate this microwave. It happened that weather got very cold during our stay and I got sick. I woke up with the fever and felt that we needed to get home asap. So we needed to leave a day earlier. The person at the reception refused to check us out unless we called Expedia. We tried too, but couldn’t get through for the longest time. She said that they would have to charge us for the last night even if we didn’t stay. According to her we were supposed to advised the day before that we would leave earlier. How could I know the day before that I would fall sick in the morning?! And why call Expedia?! I never had telephone contact with Expedia, everything online! We tried to clear the situation but she obviously wasn’t interested in helping us. The overcharged us

Had to pay extra $100 for driving a semi truck. Manager said “taking extra parking spot”. No other hotel has ever done that to me. They all been very accommodating. Also, there is no complimentary breakfast. To eat there, you had to pay extra.

I could tell the room was remodeled which was nice, but the elevators, rugs, and lobby bathroom were dirty. Also the Spanish lady (didn't catch her name) working the front desk the day we arrived had a bad attitude. She was rude and had a bad attitude. Every time I walked by the front desk she was complaining about the property and other employees. She did not give good impression of the property overall and could use some customer service training.
