This is a family-run, quaint hotel with a national name. The only complaint I could possibly have is a high curb line right where you exit the lobby onto the street, which isn't really noticeable. There is a short distance between the curb line and the exiting driveway. The property was quiet and within walking distance to Schat's world-famous bakery. The rooms and property were clean, and they had a pretty good breakfast. It was way cheaper than Mammoth and was a pretty close drive to Mammoth without having to worry about getting snowed in.

Great hotel, fresh remodel - paint, flooring and such. Room 233 only issue is the new floor was coming up. Glue didn’t work well.

Awesome Shower Head
Solid experience! Great and friendly staff. Accommodated our request without any issues for a room on the ground floor, for easy access to our vehicles. Super clean room, including bathroom. Awesome shower head (yes I'm that guy to enjoys a good shower head with plenty of pressure) :D. And the hotel is in walking distance to plenty of good restaurants. Thanks again for an exceptional experience. Will happily stay here again.

Room was spacious and clean. Did not like the solid, linoleum, or something, floor. Cold and unwelcoming. Several areas in room needed paint badly. Outside of building was not clean. Furnishings were comfortable and convenient, all needed appliances were available. Shower could not be shut off completely. Shower wall had a hole punched in it.

Very Disappointed
This is not what I expected, and was very disappointed for several reasons. I called the hotel and asked if they had a full breakfast, and they said they did. It was only a very sparse continental breakfast with a waffle maker. I only chose this hotel because they said they had a full breakfast. They do not allow for cancellations. When it rained, there was a leak through the light fixture (see water in photo).
