Nice but a few challenges
Comfortable, convenient, clean. Nice dog area, even though several people did not pick up their dog’s poop. Unfortunately we were not advised ahead of time that there was NO hot water, not even at check-in. They said that guests were called to advise this. We were not called. They did give us a 30% discount in the room. The a/c worked well, but we couldn’t have it on overnight because of the loud and blowing fan. The room was hot, and there was no lightweight blanket option to the warm comforter.

Everything is fine, but the door keys did not work well. I had hard time to open the door. Also the air condition is too old and made big noise. Very good Matress and pillows. The microwave and little refrigerator even made me feel better.

Best value in Bishop. As a business woman that travels, always need to feel safe and I’ve tried many other hotels in town before I found this one. No frills but clean and reasonably priced.

Place is clean and comfortable. Location is convenient. Included breakfast is below average. Front desk staff do not pick up phone calls. Service in dining area is poor. Tables are not cleaned. Supplies not adequately replenished during breakfast. They have a popcorn machine but never had any popcorn during our entire 4 day stay.

We booked a King room with bundled beds, but upon arrival, we were informed it was unavailable despite prepayment. Unfortunately, the air conditioning and lighting were malfunctioning, particularly in the bathroom and sink area. Following a tiring hike, we sought immediate rest to prepare for an early departure for another hike, forcing us to bathe in darkness.

Due to the annual car show, it was quite loud with people all throughout the night. In our room, the TV kept shutting off, rebooting the two nights we were there. I did discuss with mgmt and they issued a partial credit on our room. Also stated they would get someone in there to correct (sounds electrical as lights would flicker). Nice mgmt!!

We stayed for two nights while visiting Bishop Creek Canyon for Fall Foliage and the Laws Railroad Museum. This motel is near the center of Bishop on Hwy 395 and is near several restaurants and grocery stores (walking distance to many). The hotel was comfortable and very clean. Nice fluffy white towels and soft white sheets. In room coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. Pool area was nice and again everything was very clean. Simple breakfast in the morning- Bagels, Toaster Waffles, Instant Oatmeal, Juice, Coffee, Tea in a clean lobby eating area. Easy parking near our room. Room price was reasonable. I would stay here again if visiting the area.
